Leonard Floyd will be gone at #17 Spence has questions about him. Look at Kevin Dodd he has the size and motor Atlanta needs and we did finish last in sacks in the league last year. Look at his combine rating and read about him also look at the flim of him in the Alabama game. He worked hard. He doesn't just want to be around the ball like some of our own but he wants in on the action. He will blow up some offensive linemen and has been compared to Micheal Bennett. He needs some coaching but could be special and do the.job for us this year. Oh well TD didn't even invite him in for a visit and even with the comparison to Michael Bennett DQ didn't comment about him. Just remember the name and see what he does in the future for some other team. Because he will be there at #17 and not because he can't play.

The Falcon's NO 1 priority should be to improve their pass rush by solidifying their front 4. DE/LB Noah Spence is considered my many to be the most complete pure pass rushing DLineman in this draft. Aside from drafting 3 LBs with our 1st 3 picks, he best way to improve your production at LB is to improve DL.

A front 4 that can do a solid job of defending the run will definitely help improve our LBing, & a solid pass rush from our front 4 can do wonders toward improving our pass DEF. I honestly believe we'll be able to find the type of LB we want at #50, with skills that are similar to anyone we could draft at 17. There's a far more noticeable drop off, in overall talent level at DE, from 17 to 50.

I understand UGA homers wanting us to draft Leonard. While he's very athletic, rangy, with very good measurable's & a lot of potential as a pass rusher, his performance & scouting report documents the fact that he's definitely a liability against the run at this point.

Noah Spence seems to be the most complete pure pass rusher in this draft, & both his performance & scouting report rates him above average in run DEF. And like Leonard, he's capable of dropping back & playing LB when needed. There are a number of quick, fast & athletic LBs with 2nd rd grades that will be available when the Falcons pick at #50.
