The new multi-use centre is going to be built for $7.45 million with a number of aspects left out, reduced or deferred.

It's already costing above what was initially proposed — more features need to be left out to further bring down the cost.

I think $7.45 million is a great deal for what's going to be an excellent facility.

Local groups need to start fundraising in order to generate more funding so that more aspects can be added back in.
