I like mohit raina as ashoka and soumya is also doing good. They are looking good . But devi is more impressive than both of them . The story is not realistic . Why they have changed the story ?

It's so disappointing to see Mohit as Ashok. He was suitable forthe role for Mahadeva but not for Ashoka.
He looks so aged....even he seems to be older than Bindusara...
Don't understand, how can he be casted after Siddharth...the show have already started loosing it's viewers, n going to loose more if they are not going to change it..
I used to be a fan of this show....it's a request please replace him with somebody younger

many of us has already stopped watching this Ashoka, despite it was our most favorite tv show. we have lost all our interest after the leap and the character chosen... old and fat ashok, dull kauravki... unrealistic story and most important the poor picture quality... i think it is going in same direction as Maharana Pratap went if they dont improve.

i just hate all the new characters the younger ahok acting was outstanding and it just become boring nowadays to watch............ earlier it was y fav show now it become ok ok... the obe of the best acting in ashoka samrat was chankaya amazin charaxter as well as acting

Mohit is great as ashoka n soumya is very dull not suitable for mohit n for kruwaki also it will ne great if you cast puja banerjee as karuwaki she is so Has softness in her face like rim sheikh

It was very disappointing for us to see Mohit Raina as new ashoka... he looks very old... even he doesn't suits as a son of such a young mother.. son looks older than the mother... it has become a laughing stuff for us when he runs with his bulky body. he is so fat every one is young n fresh except him... i would advise him first to loose some weight n take healthy diet... kauravki's dasi looks better than her i guess... Devi is very beautiful.. earlier kauraki shouldn't have been changed. same kauravki can play this character.... she was awesome.

Mohit raina looks old. The girl who is playing his mother looks like his daughter. He is not a good choice as asoka. Soumya seth is the worst choice for kaurvaki, compared to kareena she is nothing. I think the girl who is playing asoka's mother would have been good for the role of kaurvaki, she is beautiful or u should hv taken a girl who is as beautiful as her. Anyways, It also seems as if they are using a cheap camera. Picture quality is bad and everything is overdramatic. Really, disappointed

I am a huge fan or samrat ashok. The serial isn't the same because Sid is gone plus Mohit raina doesn't fit the role because it doesn't seem natural. mohit looks to be over reacting as the new Ashoka please change the character.

I was really very excited for the leap. i wanted some vibes of romance that was in the srk's movie of asoka.. First of all i never watched any of the episodes of this serial before.. lets jst say i was waiting for the leap.. but after leap the things that i am seeing is so unrealistic like they were showing a guy whose wounds are healed on its own, he is more poisonous than snakes like wtf is this all abt.. If it was more realistic and importantly logical, this show would hv been a hit.. u can take an example of jodha akbar, when it started becoming senseless and unrealistic, the sgow went off air... Talking abt the cast, mohit raina is good but soumya seth has a very dull personality and look.. she isn't appropriate for this role.. She has an extremely dull face.. Why her?... picture quality of serial is terrible too..I am really disappointed.. Never going to watch it now

I am just mad of this serial as I am very interested in history and epics... But after this leap I am very disoppointed by seeing Mohith Raina as Ashoka... No doubt, he is a good actor but not suitable to play this role as Ashoka.The casting would have been better if they selected Ashish Sharma (Chandragupth) or Shaheer Sheik(Arjuna) or Aham Sharma (Karna) in Mahabharath) for this role.

Extremely disappointed with cast change. I was following this serial since beginning and mainly due to Sid. He was phenomenal. Cant relate to new Ashoka at all. Also story is losing its steam ...If I noticed it correctly, director plans to have a item number in the serial... cant beleive it ! Mohit doesn't fit into the character. Lost interest in the show and will stop watching it next couple of days if it goes like this. I agree Dharma looks younger to son Ashoka. I am Missing Sid. The intensity is lost. Completely waste of time now.

Disappointed with the leap. Mohit is good but cant match Sid . No offence. Sid was phenomenal. When I watched the episode I could not relate with the character. Mohit doesn't fit into the character. He was great as Lord Shiva. But not Ashoka The Great. Lost interest in the show
Even mother Dharma looks younger to son Ashoka. Leap was done in a rush. Missing Sid. The intensity of Ashoka which was there in. Sid is missing here. Its only anger. Wish the cvs had not rushed for leap. However it does not mean Mohit is not a good actor. He is but he is not suited for this character. I cant name any actor who had done better than Siddharth right now.

Mohit Raina is very bad choice ..earliar it was one of my fav serial..now i hv losted my interesrt becaz of bad choice as Ashoka..Siddhrath was the bestest choice for Ashoka..plz maintain that standard ...saras , shaheef seikh or gurmeet choudhary would do justice :)

Mohit Raina is the best choice that the set has made. His acting has been fab till now. I FEEL LIKE the team is trying to make Mohit act as a gymnast as Siddharth was, as it was evident in the 3rd May episode but could not make it as the people on sets could have atleast applied the BASIC physics while performing the stunts. Jumping off the mountain/cliff was a bit hillarious as the applied phiysics could not convince the public.
Criticism apart, Mohit's acting is REALLY better than Siddharth's. Just wait for a month or so, I bet Mohit will surely do justice to Ashoka The Great's character. I am even hoping for the same.
From my side till now 5/5 stars. Keep it up Ashoka team.

Mohit is a full justice as grown up Ashoka. He seems to have taken on young Ashoka in Siddharth Nigam and has delivered the same intensity. I think with time he will give his own mould to Ashoka character. He is an apt face turning from Chand to Chakravartin Ashoka. Wishing Mohit Raina all the best and success.

Mohit Raina is not at all suitable for this role. Sidharth nigam was much better, his smile was so good, he was cunning and smart but Mohit Raina seems to be just angry man and looks like villein. He wont be able to do the romantic role. vo chulbula pan nahi ho payega isse. i would just say - "Tumse na ho payega"

Not at all. Acting is not good. Fights seems Such babish. You should have taken similar appearance people when choosing the main actor. Such a mess. Siddarth played it superbly. Lost the interest in drama.
