I'm an Outlander fan and I hate to disappoint you, but we don't cheat. We are a large group and we simplely out voted Sherlock. We also out voted Poldark, even when we didn't enjoy doing it. I vote for Poldark when I can. That is just what we do.
I don't cheat to vote. I love outlander so I vote for it. I also love Poldark so vote for that too. Not to get a rival out but because it's a great show.
Also remember that outlander has many US fans where Poldark isn't so well known over there.
Ashley, remember the outlander books came out over 20 years ago, that is why it is a huge fan base! So what if the outlander fans pull together to vote. Why don't you take the time to organize voting for your group? My God it is only 90 minutes Ashley
Ha ha ha you say you don't cheat and then a number of you admit that you work as a team to vote it to go the way you want and get rid of certain ones so your fandom comes up against one you think it will beat. You cheats.
Apologies to people who come and vote as individuals, but the rest of you who do gang up and "work as a team" (your words) corrupt every poll Outlander is in. Yes, vote for your favourite, but don't make an artform of it by working in numbers. It is getting rather tiresome now and people are getting mightily tired of your dirty tactics.
Poldark fans do not cheat we just work together like the Outlander fans to vote for our favourite show. At times we were voting like mad and our percentage was going down too so it is the same for everyone

Dear Jayne, we Outlander fans don't cheat. This poll has been set up to unlimited voting so this isn't cheating. Sherlock is a great show, but I like Poldark better so I've been voting for them ... except when they were up against Outlander. Then, I HAD to vote for Outlander. How is THIS cheating, tell me, please?

I vote for Outlander and Poldark because I like both shows. Maybe Sherlock fans should be trying a bit harder? Stop being whiners!

Cheat perhaps not, but they do play a bit dirty. For instance...they are so far ahead they voted for Poldark one week to beat another fandom. Another week it was voting for Supernatural...I think to beat Sherlock. This week they vote for Sherlock to defeat Poldark. For some reason they think Poldark is going to defeat OL. (They must have forgotten they already beat Poldark the first week of this poll. *shurg* I guess they must POUND everyone into the dust to prove their point. Behavior like that does not make merit a "best fandom" award. They have big enough #s they should win anyway even playing fair and square.

Outlander fans do not cheat. We work as a team and vote throughout the entire voting process. I don't know who told you that Outlander fans cheat, but they were being deceptive.
It is weird though. Whenever I vote, it seems to go down. But that's cause the other team is voting more. They must be cheating... -_- or.. That's just how polls work.
Jayne, Outlander fans do not cheat. There are a lot of us, we are very well organized and we work very hard at this. We want to get a 3rd season and Starz has not yet announced it, so we are really working hard now.
How can one cheat at this poll....it resets so quickly....surely there is no need to try to be deceptive. I wish all polls were run as well as this one.
Jayne, I don't believe your comment for one moment. If whoever told you said they were an Outlander fan, then they are the sort of fan that the fandom does not need. You just need to vote and vote hard, which is what the Outlander fandom does. I am sorry if you do truly believe that Outlander fans cheat, but true fans of ANY fandom do not.
Why, when myself and friends vote for Sherlock, does the vote tally for this show go down drastically?
Perhaps we should take a leaf out of the book of Outlander fans. One told me, with great glee, that they can cheat at these polls, hence that show winning by such a majority every time.
Can something be put in place to rule out cheating? To make it fair for everyone?
