The 'Grimm' Season 5 Finale: Grade It!

I'm sad that this will be the last season of Grimm. I recently discovered the show on Amazon prime. I literally watched all 5 seasons in about a week. It's beautifully done and can appeal to a multitude of people. Whether you like crime drama or science fiction/fantasy or both, you'll love the show. Now with that said....I know there are many Nick and Juliette fans but I really hope they don't end up back together. I think as a couple they have just been through too much to bounce back. Some might argue that Adalind has also done a lot to Nick but they were never together when she was a spiteful, manipulative person. Juliette's character was never a strong, independent woman and all her personality changes were due to spells. I don't feel like she personally grew throughout the series. Adalind, on the otherhand, changed and grew throughout the series. It was never black or white and by that I mean good or evil. At the beginning she was evil but she changed on her own throughout the series. She didn't have an easy childhood with a mom as a hexenbiest and any person with a deplorable mom will have some issues as an adult that they will need to deal with. Her growth accerlated when she became pregnant with Diana and after her birth, it's as if Adalind has found her purpose and calling. Another example that it is never just black and white or good and evil with her is the fact that she did horrible things to get her daughter back. Who wouldn't do anything for their children? To me those acts weren't evil or good, it blurred that line. Many women change after they have children. I know I was a wild, crazy party girl before kids. I think that's natural. I don't think Adalind will return to her previous self because so much has happened and it's amazing what kids and love will do to a person. I do hope that Nick and Adalind end up together. I think Nick can never be with a human because the majority of humans couldn't handle it. Also it seems that even though Adalind is a hexenbiest again, she has more control of the evil things that happen when they woge. It's as though her love and bond with her children (and possibly nick) outweigh everything and anything else. I don't hate Juliette/eve's character but she's a big hot mess right now with her emotional side coming back. I think she needs to grow personally. I mean after everything that happened she just can't go back to the Juliette she use to be. I think it's time for her to be a strong, independent woman on her own not because of black claw, the spell or becoming a hexenbiest. Her character has been all over the place and at drastic ends too. Adalind's was a much more slow, progressive and natural change. Ok enough rambling...please don't end this series with nick and Juliette getting back together. It's way beyond the happily ever after that some people want. Nick as Grimm needs a strong woman at his side that sticks up for what she believes in, even if at the beginning it was wrong, she still fought and defended herself and her ideas.

One of the best shows on TV. Waiting for it to start. Nothing has been better than Grimm and I started late. Hope it gets a full season. Hope season 6 really isn't the end. It is cleverly done and Friday night is the best tv night because of Grimm

There are some problems with the script, it is so superficial. Renard decide to go with black claw in 3 second. He, the guy that don't want business with the real, we care about him, he was one of the team. But was like "you become a part of a big thing renard" me ok im im, kill everyone on the planet. Really a 8 year old script.

I'm sorry but I cannot stand Juliette/eve. Bitsie is not a good actress and her and nick had no chemistry on screen, I hated her and nick in all the seasons it seemed forced. Nick and Adalind are perfect together and Claire is a better actress, you can really tell she genuinely loves nick. I hope to god nick and Juliette do NOT get back together, if there is a love triangle I would stop watching. I can't see nick taking her back after she tried to kill him and his friend and killed his mom, even if it was a side effect. Now he has the baby with adalind so what is Juliette going to do if nick ad Juliette get back together?! She will be okay watching his baby with adalind?! I don't think so and I don't think adalind would like the fact juillete is back. Having a baby changed the possibility of nick and juilette ever getting back together. I really hope Juliette gets killed off damn soon, for good this time!

Every week I count down the days between every episode until I get to watch Grimm. I love this show! How about using the stick to bring back Nicks Mom and Miesner? They can help with the fight! I can't wait for next season(season 6). I hope they decide to give Grimm a full season, the show is getting to good to cut episodes or cancel.

THE GRIMM SERIES THERE IS NOTHING ON TV NOW THAT EVEN INTERESTS MY FAMILY. IT IS A GREAT SHOW THERE SHOULD BE MORE EPISODES AND LESS TALK ON CANCELING. WOULD BE GREAT TO KEEP IT GOING AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.THERE'S TO MUCH REALITY AND SO MANY STUPID SHOWS ON I'M SHOCKED THEY HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR. THE ACTORS ON GRIMM ARE GREAT,I LIKE JULIETTE AND NICK TOGETHER HE DOESN'T LOVE ADALIND ANYWAY MONROE AND ROSALEE ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER TOO.I GIVE THE SHOW A 100 RATING NOTHING ON TV CAN COMPETE WITH THIS SHOW.

Downright thrilling finale to my favorite show--great acting of a straightforward & fast-moving (& logical) plot. I'd love NBC to sign the series on for at LEAST six more full seasons.
(I hope they bring Meisner back to life when the show resumes; his character contributes so much to the storyline, not to mention that he's so likable.

Amazing finish. Gives us all chills. Our whole family hopes for more Grimm, especially because NBC doesn't have many shows to offer they should sign nother full season!

It was the best season finale yet! No more extra useless fillers, just action and great acting. The plot was straightforward and kept me in anticipation, and the cliffhanger was great, exactly like Bitsie Tulloch said it. It wasn't the kind that made a person frustrated. It was a greatly handled cliffhanger. The acting all around was great, Shaun Toub was the perfect villain, Damien Puckler did his own stunts, Bree Turner and Silas nailed their scenes especially the surprise at the end, Bitsie Tulloch played the subtle emotions of Eve very well, then gave a stellar performance when her feelings all came rushing back. David Guintoli was great as always, Trubel played anger and sadness very well, Wu and Hank were awesome as always. I wish every Grimm episode was like this and whatever fillers and extra junk are cut out, because if only it was so, it would be just great. Season 5 finale had to be the best episode yet, and I'm hoping if nothing can top it, then at least other grimm episodes would be just as great. Great directing by Norberto Barba.

I loved the finale. It was a relief to see Nick strong again and to see the essence of each character surface into a melody of action. This is the only series I watch on TV. A full Season 6 would be great. Thank you!

It was great to see Nick finally being awesome! We were on the verge of quitting the show because it seems like everyone kept upgrading their powers/abilities to be stronger than his which is fail to us.

  • Vi - 8 years ago

I loved it!!!! Cant wait until next season and am definitely hoping you will increase the number of episodes. Thirteen is no where near enough! I want more than the usual 22. I look forward to Grimm each week, and have bought every season so I can watch it whenever I want. Keep up the good work. I'm hoping that since Conrad is dead (and please don't bring him back!), Adalind can take off that infernal ring. She should take Diana and Kelly and go back to Nick!

Awesome finale 2hrs of action and suspense that little girl is scary see how she acts next season I am happy for Monore and Roselle had some good news during all the mayhem and killings any number on the body count it had to be close to 50 anyway Grimm deserves another full season starting with another 2hr episode this is the best drama on TV. Hope Grimm continues. It was great to see Nick fight like that again. I was literally at the end of my seat cheering him on to kill those men, it's good to see that he's still grimm-ey. Definitely cannot wait for next season.
