The existing teachers should be given the opportunity to take and pass the exam and obtain credentials then be able to teach. If they can not pass the exam then they do not deserve the job. Our children deserve a good education

It has been years, the teacher in Chiapas, Oaxaca, and other States in Mexico have been in control of their positions without regards for the children, education, their responsibilities to their communities. Is a shame that after their lack of senses still want to keep their jobs and salaries. Enough of this nonsenses. Enough; lets do it for the young Mexican children, they need much better teachers and teaching systems. And the governments should have a much better system on choosing teachers who are prepared, and qualified to teach.

Remove te unions they are the cause of all evil.

Perhaps the biggest reform is removing the unions from the payroll equation. That just breeds corruption
    from the top down.

I hope the government sticks with the reform. A system that allows teaching positions to be bought or inherited is broken. Every teacher should meet the criteria of reform and the corrupt unions should be disabled.

I have been a volunteer serving in the villags for 14 years for water supply and know from the youth that many teachers come to class only 3 days a week. The teachers union is a great burden on the public.
