The idea of putting Chad with Ciara is all kinds of wrong and is really offensive. First of all, it ruins the character of the previously great Chad. Him being interested in a very young and immature girl who was just raped makes him creepy. Then there is the fact that he is in, what I thought was a sincere commitment with his wife in good times and in bad (and their son).
To cap it all off, the actor who plays Chad is very, VERY good. The actress who plays Ciara is very VERY bad. It's a very bad match and comes off as really weird and uncomfortable.
It just ruins Chad for me and makes me want to tune out.

I was a Days fan for over 35 years. I can not stand to watch it. Chad and Ciara is wrong in so many ways. They are making Hope look like a Whore with all these guy. I have no idea what direction this show is going, but I cant watch it. Not in this direction. It is all wrong in so many ways.

The whole show is terrible right now. The actress playing Ciara is awful and cannot act. Claire isn't much better and cannot sing.They have no less than 3 men falling for Hope and 1 is dead. I can't stand the sight of her fingernails not all being the same color. Kate is much too old to have green highlighed hair. I have switched to reruns of Green Acres during my lunch time. Your writers are asked to get this show cancelled.

Chad's Character is a decent and respectful man. He endured so much by being brutally beaten fighting for the well being of the love of his life (Abigail.) By letting him become involved with Ciara is morally wrong, his character deserves compassion and respect for his wife their son and himself. Abigail is struggling with what she endured with Ben which left her emotional distraught and in a mental health facility. She had to leave her true love and baby Thomas to get better for a happy reunion when she comes home. Please keep the two characters roles with dignity and respect which will set the foundation for their love to be as strong and solid as Bo and Hope many years ago. I have been watching the show for over 40+years and being an advocate for the show as well.

DOOL fans need to chill, don't see anything wrong with giving Ciara a better storyline, if it's with Chad that's all good..I've been a Days fan for over 40+years, A little background on Hope and Julie being sisters, Doug(Hope's Father) was married to Addie Horton(Hope and Julie's Mother) if we got through that storyline back many,many, moons ago we'll survive Chad & Ciara..My Grandparents(real life people) were married for 48 years my Grandfather was 10 years older than my Grandmother, my Father was 9 years older than my Mother they were married 54 years..If there is one thing I know and that is young girls do sometimes have crushes on older boys, my Mother and Grandmother were over 18 when they were married..The whole 2 Los Angeles storylines are the ones that are the pits, the Beach and Commune stories are stupid, that's the ones the writers need to be smacked on the head for writing, they are just stupid..
