From past experience the people of the city don't get any rewards from any events such as this. One example was when the Olympics came to the City of Atlanta. They claimed to have made so much money but why didn't any of the actual local people get something from this. What actually happens to the money that is claimed to be made. The venues are basically owned and run by the City, so how does the people of the City actually benefit? Will someone please tell me?
