Great news, the Czech MPs sound wiser than most other in Western countries. Smoking bans' only effect was to kill pubs and togetherness.

One of the few ways in which the US is more advanced than CZ....is their smoking ban in public places.....much more comfortable to go out to bars and restaurants in the US

I am a non smoker and going over my own ego I can say that I appreciate that law did not pass. The reason, simple freedom of people to smoke, what make unique a country by freely choosing itself to not adopt that lawfl. This is not a big deal i think. And people, most of them from western Europe who design This like ridiculus without any plausible reason can just go to noon smoker places or leave the country to another that will match you bettet, This is your rchoice but respect the choice to the czech republic!

This is ridiculous! I am seriously pissed off! I feel disrespected and our health is violated everytime some selfish bastard lits up next to me or my kids! And I am not talking just indoors! Why does someone thinks its ok to smoke next to other people in outdoor cafe? It stinks all the same! Smoke this disgusting stink in your own homes and stop bothering general public! Its a common sense!

May be the number (%) of smoking voters are more than non smoking, parties are afraid of failure.
