I DO NOT support us paying them a wage for this work when they are already costing the tax payer thousands of dollars for their court time and incarceration,... not to mention the costs to the victim(s) they likely offended in the first place. I highly support having low-flight risk, non-violent offenders working on land maintenance. Discipline is NOT suppose to be fun!

This is a basic function of municipal government. If he cannot budget money for such a simple task, then have the mayor suspend his protection staff to make up some of the money; or better still have the mayor do it in between photo ops. .. Maybe someone from his new church could volunteer, oops, all of them are already on the city payrool..
