The attempt at sarcastic humor was tasteless and not funny and it seems he did not even to bother to watch the video. If he had he would have seen that the store owner gets on the phone a couple of times, perhaps to call the police. If he did any research he would know that typical police response time to a priority 1 call is 11 minutes. He would also see how hard the deceased had to work at it to get himself shot. He was obviously unhinged and kept fighting with an obviously armed man,

1.) Has no knowledge of how self defense works in real life.
2.) Is failing to understand who the aggressor was in this scenario.
3.) Should quit treating criminals like victims, and quit treating victims like criminals.

Lib journalism fail. Poorly written and video clearly shows armed man was doing his best to avoid confrontation.
George Mathis obviously has never been in a confrontation or had to phone the police. Clueless on response time of cops or how quickly the real world turns ugly. Go flip burgers, your writing is horrible.

Ah, so according to you, after taking down the licence plate number he should have asked the"agitated" man (we've all seen such "agitated" men at one time or another, eh?) to wait a minute so he can call the cops. And the "agitated" man would have certainly be agreable to that... Come on, let's get real here

You backed him into a corner, you knew he was armed. He never touched you until you got aggressive, and you stayed aggressive. It was a legal shoot long before that man shot.

The man was unarmed plain and simple. The instructor should had just taken him down but instead had to be a big man with a gun. I too am a gun owner and would have not used lethal force on the man.
