If that dress touches your knee cap when you are standing up, there is no WAY it can be too short - you have have to be careful when you are sitting down. I mean, are you supposed to wear gypsy skirts every day because they are okay when you sit down? I think not.

And trust me (since this is my first comment I'll introduce myself), I worked at a law firm and I've seen inappropriate clothes on attorneys - that outfit is not. At least you looked classic!
