Dan is leader and role model to many of the younger kids in our baseball program. He is always helping out at clinics and cheering on the younger North Salem kids at their games. He is well deserving of this award for how he led North Salem to the record books, especially with all the pressure on him.

Nobody more deserving than Daniel Capra! Hardest working kid I know on and off the field. Led the Tigers to their first Sectional title in 49 years and first Regional and NYS title in school history!!

Capra led The Tiger's to their first state championship. His numbers were filthy.

Agree Nancy. Hopefully the decision is based on a more comprehensive evaluation and not a popularity vote.
