There's a lot of great female characters in here but there's so many more missing, so many badass women on TV and just a few are on the list I would Vote for, you know who ia missing ? Caity Lotz-Sara Lance from arrow and dc's legends of tomorrow, a strong female character who has been trough hell and still rises up plus LGBT representation, and also Lana Parrilla -Regina Mills a much better and stronger female character than Emma Swan who is on that list, both Regina Mills and Sara Lance are complex and really strong female characters and need to be on that list ASAP.
This is crap! What about pauley perrette as abby? Or Cote de pablo as Ziva David!!!!??????!!!!!!
I voted for Elena Gilbert because let's be real this girl is bad ass. I've been following her for years and she really works her butt off to get all these doppelgängers to perfection. She's amazing.

Let's get real, while most of you ar voting for Elena Gilbert you need to recognize you're voting for the wrong doppelgänger. Don't get me wrong Nina Dobrev is a phenomenal actress and she played Elena exquisitely but Katerina Petrova (Katherine Pierce) stole my heart from the first flashback and I have to say that she was the gravitational pull that brought the show so many viewers.
Hayley Marshall from The Originals. She is such a badass. Phoebe is an amazing actress as well.

Charmed was one of the best shows of all time! So Piper Hallowell all the way! Holly Marie combs is amazing & where I would have possibly done Elana Gilbert but putting charmed in the mix hands down it should go to piper! Charmed fans are unique and we stand by charmed cast all the way!
Root (Person of Interest) is the most charming character I have seen. Her beauty, her talent, her deep love for Hanna and Shaw, and her clinging to her belief like crazy makes her so attractive. And Amy acker delivers a perfect and impressive performance for the character of Root.
And Amy is so cute, sweet, funny and so shy, She always wears a smile on her face, and her smile is sunshine giving off warmth to us, making us happy.

Dr Maura Isles embodies the code DO NO HARM. She may be quirky, but also witty and adorable in spite of being badass Jane Rizzoli's right hand lady. We have watched her evolve from shy, and withdrawn to lovable and loving to everyone around her. She has offered her home to virtually everyone on the show. She is just as protective with her brains as the others are with gun and badge and she would kill-die for any of the Rizzoli's.
Sasha Alexander's portayal of this character is so stellar and endearing that there will never be another Maura Isle's or a new Maura cast. TNT cast her, then broke the mold.
Root's gonna win this. ;)

She is so kind and quirky and definitely one of the most loveable characters on television, but if we are going for kick ass characters then what about NCIS Special Agent Ziva David? She kicks a lot of ass on NCIS Although she seems like an emotionless warrior sometimes she definitely has an emotional side that comes through througout the course of the show

Kate Beckett, played by the incredibly talented and gorgeous Stana Katic, is a multi dimensional, flawed, but warmly human character. She is a strong, driven, morally upright role model for young women, one of so very few on TV today. In my opinion, it is an injustice that Stana never received an Emmy nomination for her extraordinary performances over the seasons of Castle.
