I am very confused. .. The Patio Seafood Tavern won the Best Burger competition but A. The photo shown is of another restaurants burger and B. It took me reading more than half the article to find out that The Patio won. I am guessing that the writer has his own favorite restaurants in town but really? Shouldn't we give The Patio a little recognition. All restaurants had the same opportunity to showcase their burgers... the judging was blind, meaning the judges didn't know which burger came from which restaurant, and yet they voted The Patio' burger as the best. Give this restaurant and Chef the recognition they deserve.

(Sorry) looked and smelt so good and that it was actually very clean. And it speaks volumes that we we have had so many folks rebooking parties in our private rooms. They are either doing multiple functions or in other cases are a guest and are so impressed that they call us when they need a room for a rehearsal, anniversary and list goes on.
The patio has a new lease on life, check us out!

I would like to thank everyone one for coming out to support a great cause and one that truly needed in our community. I would also like to thank the judges and all the folks who kept recommending our booth last Saturday.
I would also like to let folks know not only do we offer a burger but we put a lot of love and thought into its preparation.
We use great quality meat and it is shown a lot of love (nice way of saying we we have a secret that we cannot share )priority to being put on our oak wood burning grill. The love is important as the oak wood which transfers extra layers of flavor to the beautiful patty.
And while the winning burrger was topped with wild mushrooms in sauteed Bleu cheese and tawny port caramelized onions it is about the burger, passionate our commitment to produce amazing meals, weather simple or the elk dinner we did last week.
The Patio has been a staple in Vero since 1935 and while it has gone through many changes there has been amazing support for want we have done over the last year and a half. YES A YEAR AND A HALF. The team is eager to please and serve you VERO BEACH. Tonight we rolled out a summer menu loaded with great burgers, 7 different cuts of steak including tbone , flavorful hanger steak, filet , rib eye, Prime strip sirloin and more. All our steaks are aged in house for more flavor and tenderness. 15 draft beers, an indoor and outdoor Bar and amazing seafood dished.
Help us celebtate us being here for a year and a half. If u haven't been in in a while stop back in and I would love to meet you.
To wrap up I would like to share a story. When we reopened the restaurant on 2014 a couple who vowed never to come in again because of is general disrepair and being dark and dingy as well as a bit stinky. Well this couple was dragged in practically kicking and screeming. Well they are now regulars and could not belive that the place
