I’m so disappointed. I have binge watched 12 seasons on Netflix. My first disappointment was when Gideon left the show! He was the reason I started the show. But I quickly learned to love Rossi. I had a real hard time learning to like the new characters. I almost stopped watching for that brief time that JJ left. I was happy she returned. I’ve not been a huge fan of the new characters but I learned to accept Prentiss. When Morgan left I literally cried real tears. I feel like García in the fact that I am so upset with him leaving I refuse to like the new characters. I can’t seem to form a bond with the others and now that Hotch is gone I don’t think I’ll finish the series. Thanks for 11 seasons but season 12 is officially ruined and I won’t bother finishing the rest.

Losing Morgan and Hotchner was HUGE mistake. Morgan had the charisma and Hotch was the glue to an obviously cohesive cast. Now, they're ALL struggling, and it shows. You've turned it into a formula cop show. You left Reid in prison far too long, and the writers clearly don't know how to write for the newbies and have lost focus on writing for the original cast. As brave as Morgan has always been, he can't cope with a job AND family like the other characters can? Gimme a break! The newbies don't fit, including Lewis. You folks are about to shoot your show and a lot of loyal viewers right out from under you for EGO. I wouldn't want to be known around Hollywood for THAT.
Well media can have truth and can have lies, but regardless Hotch made the show....it was sad enough to lose Morgan, but it was easier because he had a reason for it. You guys completely cut a cast member and disappointed over half of your viewers because of personal bs. You obviously don't care because it's still a popular show...for now.

With Hotchner gone the show is awfull. We watched the show since it frist aired 12 seasons ago But we said we would not watch the seasons 12 and up. UNTIL they bring Hotchner back. The show has been diminished greatly with the loss of Gibson. So much so that I've stopped watching altogether after watching every single original episode & then watching most a 2nd or 3rd time in syndication.
And you can count on the fact that I'm not the only dedicated viewer who no longer is. I predict CM will keep dropping in the standings & season 13 will be the last.
Nice job killing one of your most popular hit shows & losing the revenue stream its success created for CBS. All because of something so minor & stupid. You'll regret firing him. And not an easily replaceable co-producer... And you guys think you're so smart....

Sad mistake firing Hotch from Criminal minds. He made the show feel real but without him, it is just another boring second class show. I miss Morgan but Hotch was the last straw. good thing I have all the series up until then. The producer needs to grow up and get a life. Mistakes are made but you don't ruin somebody for it. Bring Hotch back and make the show what it used to be. It was the best, now it is a waste of time.

Self serving jerks who run these shows can't put their lack there of character aside for the betterment of the show. Gibson needs to come back. There is a reason why the show worked and the big part of that reason was Hotchner. Flick the chip off your shoulder and bring him back. The show has been lacking since he's been gone.

I love Hotch and want him back! I feel the same as others and don't really want to watch it any longer. BUT I also love Jj, Reed and Emily the only reason I might still watch. HOWEVER now being a legal issus with Hotch it could be forever before we get him back or if at all, SO maybe just bring back Morgan and that could work! I mean it's a not a bad idea..

I am a dedicated viewer, been watching since the beginning, its just not the same without Hotch. Love the other characters, but Hotch is the glue holding this show together. I agree with everyone else, I think Criminal Minds will be forced off the air because of losing ratings...i knoww I won't watch anymore.

I have watched Criminal Minds since it's inception and it has always been my all time favorite. Now I also watch all the reruns over and over. There have been a couple of cast changes that have made me sad, but nothing compares with the firing of Thomas Gibson! This is just WRONG!!! Was excited to see the return of Paget Brewster and also love the rest of the cast, but Hotch is the heart and soul of the show! Not sure how long they will be able to pull it off without this amazing actor... And that is sad!!!

We cant afford cable so we watch and rewatch and rewatch and rewatch every episode we are on edge waiting for the new season to come out but No Hotch makes it hard to want to watch , please bring Hotch back!! He brings so much to the show... I love reid , jj, penelope, rossie and dont mind the new ones coming in and out but the heart is hotch .... Bring him back please I dont want to see season 12 be the last season as I live for this show. I literally binge watch this show every single day I love it. No longer want to watch criminal minds. Without hitch, it's lost it's appeal to me. He grounded the characters and made it real. Very, very unhappy about his absence. I'll watch reruns instead.
One possibility for a new section chief would be Gary Sinese from Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Is was excellent on CSI:NY as the boss and it would be easier to have him move from on division of the FBI to another.

This is going to be the worse decision this show makes. Thomas Gibson is one or the most important actor who put reality in a fictional show. Stupid disagreement is going to cause the rating to drop down and then every one looses their job. The writers are great but the actors make the show. I have watched this show since the very beginning and also met Joe M.and J.J. at the Laguna Hill's ArtsAnd Crafts show. I have never been so impressed in meeting a group of actors that have impact my out look in TV shows. To the writer who got kicked he desearves an apology from Hutch but the writer needs to look into what caused this action. Love Criminal Minds but I am so sad you have written off some great actors, Morgan, Gideon and if Tom goes , I feel sorry for the rest of the cast because its only going to be time. Bring back Morgan, shocked you wrote him off.

Smartest action would be to boycott all CBS shows until Gibson is brought back. They'Il simply axe him and Criminal Minds if the ratings for the one show are affected. They will have no choice but to bring him back if all their shows' ratings are affected.

Hotch is the grounding force in the show! He makes the show more believable. With him, the dynamics between the characters seemed much more natural. When you watch now, the loss of Hotch is tangible.

In my opinion, Hotch played by Thomas Gibson is a necessity for the show. His role points out how serious crime and violence is and how serious we should take it in our society today. I would not want to see that role played by anyone else but Thomas Gibson.I agree with an earlier comment, it's bad enough Morgan played by Shamar Moore is no longer there I was willing to deal with that because he always seems to be written back into the show when he does take a break. It's so sad that Hotch gets fired for accidentally kicking the the producer, Hotch apologized. Geesh!!! I think Cbs and the person need to go stop whining and support Gibson. Gibson was humble to apologize and loyal to the show. When Criminal Minds gets cancelled due to low ratings, hopefully the producer can create something great. I tried to watch it after Hotch was gone, it was SO BORING.
