How do you feel about this school's opt-out permission slip for the Pledge of Allegiance?

You liberal P.O.S. you havent "served" anything but your own interests. The 1st amendment and the 5th amendment of the United States Constitution apply to your ungrateful grandchildren as much as any others but you as an "adult" should know better than to force your politics on the weak and feeble minds of children. You forceably opting your children out of the opportunity to learn history and a chance to love their country is the exact reason why there are thousands of millenials so stupid to accept a dollar for a vote and throw molotov cocktails at police in the name of media lies. You ought to be absolutely ashamed of yourself.

I have "served" this country as a voter and parent and am a loyal and patriotic citizen, however I understand what freedom actually means. Soldiers are NOT the only people who fight for this country, and sometimes the true cost of freedom is protesting when my country does something WRONG. Yes, we do and have done some very wrong things and one way to correct those wrong things is to stand up (at great risk from some of the gun toting racist people who live here) and explain that in order to be free we must be free to choose whether to say the pledge or it isn't really freedom at all.

I don't think children should be required to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at all.

If people opt out, then their children should be removed from the school or required to pay for the childs
education. This country provides education at all peoples expense. You don't support your country then
its time you left here. I served 20 years in submarines to help to make sure education and freedom was
    provided in our country.
