Muhney was a much more believable Adam. Phelps screwed up a lot of plot lines at Y & R. Hunter King is not even a good actress. To fire Muhney on her account is beyond rational. Glad she has gone on to prime time and left cast of Y & R. PLEASE let us have Muhney back as Adam!!

Michael Muhney performances were riveting. Either you love him or you hated him but either way he caught and kept you coming back. He did not play Adam, he was Adam. Of course, he and Chelsea had great chemistry. Remember, the engagement in the rain. Remember when, he pulled Chelsea out of the ice, and remember when he found out that Connor was his son. Please bring MM back!!!

Both were excellent but of course different. I think the chemistry between Chelsea & Adam/Justin was the best. They truly made you see love between them. Michael mah have been the better role in his actions with Victor because he had more of a mean look & his anger seemed to be more of a rage. Both were great but my vote is Justin.

How could this be explained? Michael was burned beyond recognition, that is how we got Justin. Thank godness for that, the chemistry with Chelsea was amazing, he made the mld side if Adam believable, and he wasn't hard on the eyes. They are both great actors but considering the explanation of the chage i. Adam's appearance Y & R would have to become a remake of "Face Off" would be needed. A third actor maybe???? Please just do not pull from the agency that found the 2 awful.Billy recasts. Yikes!

I loved Michael Muhney as Adam. Justin Hartley did a wonderful job, with a softer side to Adam, but he never became Victor's son. Adam as portrayed by Michael Muhney is definitely, unequivocally Victor Newman's son. He has that edge that can't fully be trusted. Love it!

I really like Justin Hartley but in my opinion Michael Muhney plays Adam better. When there is a scene where Victor and Adam are screaming at each other or any other highly emotional scene, Michael knocks it out of the park. Michael can play the part of Adam so well you know he is Victor Newman Jr. Justin is a great actor and I really enjoyed him on Y&R, but Adam lost his true Victor Newman Jr. side when Justin took over.

I loved Muhney his character as Adam, was the Victor Newman clone. Ironic though another fire to happen for this replacement kind of cheesy.. But, bring him back to where the show needs to be. Justin, had a soft side that made me love him as well. We need hard core Muhney back!! North Carolina Congrads CBS, on your 11,000 episode. I have watched from day one!

The "Adam" character was changed to suit Justin. The character became softer and sweeter. If Y&R wants to return to the original Victor Jr character, Michael Muhney is the ONLY actor who can play that role 100%! The scenes he filmed with baby Connor were sweet and genuine and his scenes with Sharon and Chelsea were electric! Michael is a multidimensional actor, committed to his art. HE WILL BRING IT!!!

Michael Muhney is the better Adam by far. He is a classy guy who treats his fans with respect. I met him twice and he was humble, sweet and stayed longer to chat with fans long after the other Y&R actors left. Class act!

I used to think that Michael was the better Adam and couldn't be replaced. When Justin took over the role, he made it his own. Both were good but in my opinion, Justin was better. Good luck Justin. Sure wish you would come back.

There is no technical comparison because Michael is a Harvard educated actor, speaks in a most fascinating pace that intensifys what is being said. If you care more about the hardcore fans than Ms Phelps, rehire Michael if he hasn't already been hired by another show or play. You will excel even more than the first 11,000 shows!!

During the time each actor was portraying Adam, they were perfect for the part. Each had nuances that was perfect at the time. Came to LOVE each one in the part and it took a while to really enjoy the differences when a different one came on the show to play the part. But Adam has always been a great addition to Y and R to me. He makes everything more interesting!!

I prefer Michael Muhney. I prefer the chemistry he had with Chelsea and the baby. There is no one that can replace him. I thought Justin did the best he could under the circumstances but I always felt he was another character as it was no where near how Adam should act or be.
Justin Hartley is far the better Adam . Him Chelsea has so much chemistry. Justin absolutely best actor. Yes handsome also. No other can be or replace Justin. No questions asked. He brings character light. So please don't let him go.

I like Justin Hartley better and I hope he stays. Muhney was good too but his ego seeped through from real to reel where Justin has always seemed to appreciate his opportunity while maintaining his high level performance.

I love Justin/Adam no other actor could play him. I hope that Justin can do both shows. He has got such special chemistry, who ever he is in a scene with he shines. His character is well written but it's Justin who brings the character to life.
