Justin Hartley was very easy on the eye which made me accept him after a while but I missed MM so much and was devastated when he left , the show wasn't worth watching without him actually. He made Adam Newman such a powerful and important character and he needs to come back I still miss him.

I've been watching Y&R since the 70's and my sisters and I love it and we text about it daily. We tape it, we go through marathons of watching it when we've been away, we never miss an episode! You have broken our hearts by first taking Adam, and then replacing him and then taking him again. My sisters and I were just saying "they should bring Michael back, that would be awesome" and here I read someone else was thinking that too! MM was the best Adam anyone could imagine, even the producers got more than they could have written. It was inside of MM and his destiny to be Adam. I know he made up phrases and gestures on the spot. He was intrinsically giving us what we, his audience wanted. His facial expressions, that steely gaze, the sardonic wit, he is the best bad guy you love to hate, but I always loved him in spite of that, and I always will. Justin was great, it was a tough situation, but he is a much softer version, and totally handsome for sure, but MM is extremely dashing, like Mr. Darcy, and the way he went against Victor, and that loving tape he made confessing about Dehlia, and how he pursued Sharon, and how he changed Chelsea's life by believing in her, and his relationship with his mother...he was amazing and it would be the least of what the Y&R fans deserve after what you've put us through! BRING BACK MICHAEL!

Michael Muhney was excellent as Adam! He made everyone bring their best to the table whenever he had a scene with someone! Why do you think he & Erik Braeden had such intense, emotional scenes?! This man is a very talented actor, can't stand wasting time for unprepared actors, and for aging actors he can be VERY threatening to their on-air time, their contract/job! Straightened up & get/keep your talented actors, let go those with no talent, decrease on-air time to older, boring characters (Victor, Nikki, Jill, Neil) & let Jack & Adam become the new head of their families & introduce a couple new families to battle them! Not difficult! Just don't be scared otherwise, this soap opera is going to die like All My Children, One Life to Live, Ryan's Hope, Port Charles, etc! I remember when I first started watching Y & R, it was about the rich Brooks family & the Foster family who were poor. Jill Foster Abbott Atkinson is the last character, from the original storyline, still with a recurring part.

Yes! Bring Michael Muhney back to Y and R. Everyone does deserve a second chance and he has been in Time Out Center, way too long!!! It would be thrilling to have our Adam Newman back in GC again! (I loved Justin also..........but felt sorry for his story line, way too repetitive) I wish him great success in his new show, and will def. tune it to see what that show is about.) I love the new Phillis. And Billy. I urge Y and R to ask MM to come back to the show. And I urge Micheal to agree to play our Adam again!

Please please bring Michael Muhney back. You seldom see an actor as brilliant as he. His emotions and facial expressions can literally speak for themselves without him ever having to say a word. I absolutely cannot stand the actress who plays summer, and she could just go. I didn't believe any rumors, and have been devastated since he left. Of My 4 favorite actors on the show- Michael Muhney, and the actress who played Phyllis before were both recast. My other two were Catherine who passed and Michael Baldwin who is Brilliant and thank God not let go. Please please bring back the brilliant actor Michael Muhney and young and Restless will soar to new heights!!! If possible while you're at it, get Phyllis back!!!

Yes, he should be brought back. Michael Muhney is the best, he played Adam brilliantly, No-one can do it the way that he does. The fans want him back, that would boost their ratings, sky high. He could just step back into "HIS" role and everyone, would be estatic and happy!!! They don't even have to explain the image difference, Michael Muhney is Adam Newman, simple as that! CBS, Y&R should give the fans what they want, this has went on for too long. As for the "Allegations" made against him, don't believe them, I have never liked the character of Summer, Ever since she came to the show, she is just a whiney, spoiled, I fast forward through all her scenes, can't handle the whiney voice of hers, this is before all of this happened. YES, PLEASE!!!!! Bring the real Adam Newman back, Michael Muhney, I still miss him, I've been watching this show for over 40 years, never felt this bad when someone was replaced, it took me a while to get used to Justin, although he is an excellent actor, I still missed Michael!!! This is a great opportunity to bring Michael Back, if he wants to. PLEASE do not replace Adam with someone else, we all agree that if not Michael, is better to leave Adam dead, there is no way we will accept another replacement!!! He is probably one of the few characters that we would hate to see him killed, but it would be better than to have another actor!!!

I think a Dallas shower scene would work. Everything that happened in the past two years was just a dream and Michael Munhey was never gone. PLEASE!!! Bring Michael Muhney back as Adam!! I agree with ALL of the other fans in that Michael Muhney IS ADAM! I've been watching Y&R since I was a lil girl and Michael Muhney is the best fit for Adan Newman and a great contender for Victor. If anything you could replace "what's her name"? Phyllis' daughter? Nobody would miss her. I can't even remember her name. She seems a bit childish anyway. But bringing Michael Muhney back would be the best decision that has been made in a while. I was so sorry to see him go that i didn't even watch the show everyday. Michael Muhney is such an awesome actor that he could portray Adam's thoughts with just an expression!! He didn't even need to open his mouth at times and you totally understood what his thoughts were. Not many people/actors are THAT GOOD!!! If you dont seize this opportunity to boost the raings and make Y&R a real contender in day time soaps it would be a great traversity! Don't do a make over or surgery. Would love to see MM come back as Adam. He was more of a match for Victor. JH played a good Adam but he was softer than MM. However if they decide to go in a completely different direction I would be alright with that. We never thought MM could be replaced and here steps in JH and everyone was hooked. This could possibly happen again. I would rather have a recast than to let the character of Adam go. I agree that it should be stated now the part of Adam Newman is being played by instead of going thru all the face change drama.....

Even though Michael Muhney had a very good predecessor and successor Justin Hartley was absolutely fabulous, Michael Muhney is the one who fully developed the multifaceted personality of Adam. Any other recast would fade in the background. I was really sorry to see Justin Hartley go, (good luck with his new show) but, bringing back Michael Muhney would sure ease the pain and give us something definitely worth looking forward to!

Michael Muhney is the only Adam that Y and R fans will accept. Justin Hartley re-created a fantastic Adam and I accepted him, but the only actor that can replace Justin is the original Adam, Michael Muhney. I have watched this show since it began with the Brooks sisters. I was in junior high school and I'm still a fan. It is so depressing when we get attached to characters and then they leave the show and you bring in new people to replace them. I still miss Billy Miller and the character of Lily!!
Please keep the fans happy and hire back Michael Muhney.

He is the "only" person who can play this character. What ever did or did not happen to make him leave they need to make it right and bring him back. You couldn't replace Victor, Nick, Sharon, or Nikki with another character and neither can Adam - he can not be played by anyone else.

Never missed MM as Adam because I really didn't like him that much. However, I voted YES to bring him back as Adam simply because I want to see Chloe put in a nuthouse, her daughter taken away from her and find out that ADAM did NOT kill Dehlia!! I would love to see Chloe and Victor crash and burn for all their evil schemes! KARMA is supposed to be a *B*,,,,,so let's see her do her job for once!

I'm sure you will agree Michael M. has already proved his ability. To bypass him and hire someone else is a real travesty. Go with Michael. He did nothing wrong when he was originally on Y&R, it was a power play by the writers and higher ups that messed everything up bigtime. Guess they were flexing their muscles so to speak.
The best move they could make is rehiring Michael to the Adam role.

It is unfortunate that the internet creates it own rumor mill. If Michael's departure was on the "whim" of someone higher up, and that person is no longer involved with Y & R, of course he should be the top contender for the role of Adam. I remember Star Trek the Next Generation's second season when such a thing happened to Gates McFadden who played Dr. Beverly Crusher. They wrote her out of the cast but in Season 3 she returned and stayed until the series' end. I really hope the same happens for Michael.

Yes, as unhappy that I am that yet another great Adam actor is gone, I think y&r owe it to us viewers to bring the original back and if that means getting rid of whiney sounding snow flake that got Muhney fired to begin with; then so be it, I won't miss her. Michael Muhney is a astounding actor who shouldn't have been let go. All though Justin Hartley is a fantastic actor and did great as Adam.
No other recast will do.If it's not him, don't replace with anyone else. Would rather have his character killed off than recast. You will lose viewers if the characters is recast by any other actor. You haven't done well with recast or storyline, and us viewers have NOT been impressed.

From a man who watches TY&TR I would love to see Michael Muhney back as a Adam.me and my Mom tape the show and watch it together daily and we were both bummed when Michael left. Yes Justin Hartley did a good job, but for me, I just could never get by the fact that he wasn't Michael Muhney, who really is the one and only TRUE Adam Newman.

The talent Michael Muhney brought to the role of Adam Newman was exemplary, as was truly indicated by his HUGE fan base. By bringing him back, would be a great asset to The Young and the Restless and skyrocket the ratings to a never before seen high of any daytime drama!!! Michael was great as Adam and I missed him terribly when he was let go. Justin did a great job as the new Adam, but, he is now gone, and as the old saying goes, the show must go on. Ratings have slipped on Y&R and the ratings will slide if the part of Adam is replaced with someone unknown.

I loved Justin, after he became Adam, took awhile to know/accept him. I think it would be the best thing you could possibly do, would be to bring Michael back as Adam. Everyone would love it and I think your ratings would go up vs. down. I will miss Justin, just as I will be thrilled to have the original Adam back again. It will make for easy transitioning, and all will be good for the Young & The Restless fans. I will tune into Justin's new show, and I will continue to watch TY&TR. So much has changed for the worse in our current real world, please keep/make our daytime/soap world as something good to look forward to. Thanx in advance.

If Michael's departure was on the "whim" of someone higher up, and that person is no longer involved with Y & R, of course he should be the top contender for the role of Adam. I remember Star Trek the Next Generation's second season when such a thing happened to Gates McFadden who played Dr. Beverly Crusher. They wrote her out of the cast but in Season 3 she returned and stayed until the series' end. I really hope the same happens for Michael.
Yes, as unhappy that I am that yet another great Adam actor is gone, I think y&r owe it to us viewers to bring the original back and if that means getting rid of whiney sounding snow flake that got Muhney fired to begin with; then so be it, I won't miss her. Then again, who's to say Muhney would want to come back after how they treated him?

Michael Muhney is a astounding actor who shouldn't have been let go. All though Justin Hartley is a fantastic actor and did great as Adam.
No other recast will do.If it's not him, don't replace with anyone else. Would rather have his character killed off than recast. You will lose viewers if the characters is recast by any other actor. You haven't done well with recast or storyline, and us viewers have NOT been impressed.

From a man who watches TY&TR I would love to see Michael Muhney back as a Adam.me and my Mom tape the show and watch it together daily and we were both bummed when Michael left. Yes Justin Hartley did a good job, but for me, I just could never get by the fact that he wasn't Michael Muhney, who really is the one and only TRUE Adam Newman.

By bringing him back, would be a great asset to The Young and the Restless and skyrocket the ratings to a never before seen high of any daytime drama!!! Michael was great as Adam and I missed him terribly when he was let go. Justin did a great job as the new Adam, but, he is now gone, and as the old saying goes, the show must go on. Ratings have slipped on Y&R and the ratings will slide if the part of Adam is replaced with someone unknown.
I loved Justin, after he became Adam, took awhile to know/accept him. I think it would be the best thing you could possibly do, would be to bring Michael back as Adam. Everyone would love it and I think your ratings would go up vs. down. I will miss Justin, just as I will be thrilled to have the original Adam back again. It will make for easy transitioning, and all will be good for the Young & The Restless fans. I will tune into Justin's new show, and I will continue to watch TY&TR. So much has changed for the worse in our current real world, please keep/make our daytime/soap world as something good to look forward to. Thanx in advance.

In my opinion Michael Muhney created Adam Newman. Bringing him back would be the best thing that could happen right now. Justin was great in the role and will not be forgotten but there has really only been one Adam Neuman and that was Michael.
