So what's your take on pirates in romance?

Love them, can't pass up a historical pirate story.

Are you serious, Princess Bride...Dread Pirate Roberts, do I need to say more?

Space pirates, sign me up for the Serenity (Firefly TV series). Can I hear a yes from the brown coats?

I'd like a romance with a lady pirate.

I can take or leave the pirate, but I'm fond of a parrot with a quirky vocabulary.

Nope, not really fond of idea of a pirate romance hero, I say let them walk the plank ;)
