If the election were held today, who would you vote for?

Vote for integrity. The simple fact that neither Clinton nor Trump are insisting that another legitimate candidate that is on all ballots of all 50 states be on stage with them shows their own fears. They are supposed to be able to be the leaders of the United States. They have no integrity at all. I sure as hell don't want either one representing me or making decisions that effect any of us. Trump will not do anything but make things worse and Clinton will keep it all the same. No change. FYI you can vote more than once on this poll but it will only count once from each IP address.

Trump and Clinton do not stand for what I was taught by my parents, church, Boy Scouts or the Army. They do not stand for what I teach my children or how I live.

My vote is too important to waste on the status quo or a loose cannon. If I do not vote for freedom, sanity and reasonable solutions to our nations problems I will not get freedom, sanity and reasonable solutions to our nations problems.

Gary Johnson was a honorable governor, is a honorable businessman and is more honorable than Clinton (an adaptive elitist narcissist) and Trump (who has swindled thousands of small business owners he contracted with).

Gary Johnson is a honest candidate that will end the wars, balance the budget, secure the boarder without deportation or building a wall, reduce taxes and maintain the long-term solvency of Social Security and Medicare.

With deepest sincerity, I have analyzed how the faults of the duopoly can be overlooked. It always comes back to people using fuzzy logic and allowing denial and fear to avoid doing what is just.

Denial and fear can help us survive, but denial and fear harm us when they cause us to ignore problems for which there are solutions or deny feelings and needs that if dealt with would enhance our lives

I encourage everyone not to stay with the duopoly, which serves special interests. It is the duopoly, "we should be fighting, not each other."

This poll is so bad. Any body can vote multiple times and a robot can skew the numbers.
It shoukd not be a news story because its a joke.
It makes WANE look bad because its easily hacked.

First time since 1972 when I could first vote that the wrong person would become president and that is trump. He will never be my president.

Who , in their "right" mind votes for a carnival barker? It seems the 4 deaths in in Benghazi are directly due to Hillary Clinton? Using that logic Reagan was responsible for the space shuttle accident, the 200+ Marines getting blowed up in Lebanon, and Sept. 11. 2001 was Bush's fault. If it happens during a Republican administration it is OK to lose thousands, but if a Democrat 4 lives lost is too many. It seems TALK TOUGH and carry a little stick is the TRUMP way... I guess I'm just a ( dirty word ) LIBERAL who will vote for Hillary.

To listen to most of the media, you would think that if you don't like Trump, you have to settle for Clinton. If you don't like Clinton, you have to settle for Trump. The poll so far shows that a significant portion of the respondents know that there is another choice.

I figure we will see a impeachment in two years (for using his powers for his business) or at war if trump is elected. Nothing will be like it use to be the schools, or friends of the US . Go Trump.

Just a guess, Shelby. For me, "the way things were" refers to a time when many of today's (Tuesday) WANE TV headlines - the shootings, stabbings, hard drug arrests and human trafficking happened over a period of several months to a year in Fort Wayne and not just one day. I'm not sure any presidential candidate can turn that or those nationwide problems around. Seems to me it's a parenting/personal responsibility issue - but that's another discussion. In my opinion and for whatever reason(s), America was a more law abiding, productive, quieter, safer place many years ago. I hope that ship has not sailed. Voters are scared and concerned -- and they should be. I have no idea how my grandchildren will fare over their lifetimes, but I am certain it will not be as pleasant and rewarding as mine has been. Good thing they don't have anything to compare these days to.

If ever there was a time for a third party... I'm not 100% Libertarian, but would love to see them as part of the mix. And it's a travesty that Gary Johnson was excluded from the first debate.

Unfortunately, our choices are limited due to the fact that both Clinton and Trump have dismal backgrounds regarding truth and ethics. However, Trump has no substance to his platform because it changes with the wind as to which group he is addressing on a particular day. He thinks that the normal voter doesn't have the intelligence to be informed about the issues, and he relies on one-sided media (such as Fox News) to further his campaign.

If lieing is grounds for disqualification then the ONLY qualified candidate is Gary Johnson.

I will vote for Trump. Is he the right choice? Hopefully. I can not and will not vote for Clinton. I would have a very hard time with myself voting for someone who does nothing but lie, cheat, and gets away with murder.
Remember when everyone said that an actor would not be a good president? President Reagan was one of the best Presidents in our time. Maybe Donald Trump is exactly what we need. He is not a politician, he is a business man. He is not politically correct, he says whats on his mind. That may be just what we need. In the last 8 years, I have lost a LOT of respect for our government. Our country's reputation has went from someone you don't want to mess with, to an easy target. I'm almost 60 years old and I have no idea how much more time I have left on this earth. I am truly afraid of the kind of country my grand children and great grand children will have to live in, if Clinton continues the kind of destruction we have endured for the last 8 years.

Melissa, I ask this with all honesty not just to create tension but which time in our country are you referring to as far as "the way it was"? I truely want to know.

  • Melissa - 8 years ago

Cannot void for a person that lies under oath. Hope Trump wins to make America the way it was. Not all this racial tension and deficit
