If you want the poor to get raises, you can pay them out of your pocket book. Maybe they should aim higher and not aim for entry level jobs to sustain their life? If that is all they are capable of, then I don't feel too sorry for them.
Did I misinterprete your statement? People living in poverty should get a raise only if you get one too, even though you are not living below the poverty line. And don't try and suggest that you are poor otherwise you wouldn't be arguing against a raise for the poor.
If you want to raise the minimum wage, then everyone else should get an equivalent raise as well. The cost of living is going up faster than people's wages are.
If these polls represented the view of the average longmont citizen then that person would want low wages, fracked lands, no open space, no health insurance, no weed and Drumph for our president. Good thing this poll means nothing and that the backwards moron's votes count towards nothing.
