Thank you so much for your vote! I heard so much about the ACOTAR series by Sarah J. Mass with the same kind of mixed feelings. I really want to start reading it soon but i hate reading series where all the books aren't out yet. So I guess I'll be starting the LUX series because I really want to start and finish it this year.
I voted for you to read A Court of Thrones and Roses!! I didn't click too much with the first book although I still enjoyed it! Then A Court of Mist and Fury was released and now I'm obsessed. ACOTAR was my first Sarah J. Maas book and based of that one book alone I didn't quite get all the hype. I strongly believe that ACOMAF lives up to her hype. I'm currently getting ready to start the third Throne of Glass book and ACOMAF is still my favorite by her! If I could vote for more then one book I would have also voted for the Lux series and Red Queen. Both Jennifer L. Armentrout and Victoria Aveyard are fantastic authors! Jen is my all time favorite author and I've read every one of her books so I'd honestly and whole-heartedly recommend anything by her. I know a few people who it took them a little bit of time to really get into Red Queen, I on the other hand wasn't like that with the book but I did want to let you know that a lot of people find it slow in the beginning. Red Queen is still great though and God bless you when you get to the end of Glass Sword.
