Melody at Shear Artistry is the absolute best hands down!!! She has probably trained all the other people listed in this survey at some point. She is the "Mother" of all hairdressers in the shreveport / bossier area but keeps up with trendy every day styles you see on celebrities :-)

Ariel Beeler @ Chemistry is the best stylist I've ever had! She is so dedicated to her clients and their happiness. If she doesn't feel like she did the best she could then she will make it right; she will go in early, stay late, or go in on her days off just to accommodate her clients. Everyone at Chemistry is so talented and professional and you'd be doing yourself a huge favor by scheduling an appointment with them!

Elizabeth Longo at Avalon is amazing! She never disappoints and is always up to date on the latest. When a change is wanted or needed she always suggests the exact things wanted even if I can't explain it correctly lol. Sincere to the core about wether or not customer is not just happy but stunning and can't ask for more than that!! Check her and all the girls at Avalon out n you won't be sorry!!!! Good luck!!!

Bridgette's Salon in Bossier City is the plaCe to go! The stylists make you look your absolute best and the atmosphere is like no other. You will find expert stylists, a relaxing spa with out of this world massage/skin treatments and a great eyelash exstention specialist. You will leave looking beautiful and feeling refreshed!

My family has been through many stylists over the years. I'm happy to say that over the last couple of years we have made our home with Chemistry. My wife, my boy, my mom, all of my siblings, and myself have each found a different stylist at Chemistry who fits our personal hair style and cosmetic needs. Hello! Locals Love Us has voted Glitz and Glam the #1 Salon in Shreveport/Bossier the past 2 years and they were not even on the list! Sad to see this happen! Avalon is the best! They have always been my go to! Salina is a hair God! She never dissapoints me. I probably have the thickest hair ever, and she's always so kind and knows how to get the job done! Love her & the salon and her patience with my hair! Lol

I've been going to Avalon Salon for over 6 years. Salina has been my main stylist for years, but I've had my hair done by almost everyone there. I admit.. I am a very complicated client. My hair is long, I have to get a full highlight/lowlight mix with usually two or three different colors, She has to blend my roots to match and I always get a split end treatment. I'm usually there for two hours, but I never leave unhappy!! Avalon girls are up-to-date on trendy styles and are great with color. They are very professional, but ultra friendly! You will leave looking like a beauty queen.
