Then was Stars the movie that was supposed to pair her with Lena Horne again. Broadway Babies that was going to pair her with Barbra Streisand and the Darkest Amber before Lady though I wished they had made it. A musical version of Sabrina. And another one titled All Is Fair. And All About Eve with Toni Braxton. These all sounded so good I wished she had made more movies than she did

A few other Ross movies left on the drawing boards that would have been wonderful to see would include "Tough Customers" rumoured to co-star James Caan, "Hot Snow" the World War two era movie that was to be the followup ABC Production to "Out of Darkness", and the one I wished most of all they would have made was "Silence" that was to be produced by Allan Carr of Grease and co-starring Paul Newman. Diana would have played a deaf mute, a role first played by Jane Wyman in her Oscar winning role in Johnny Belinda. Now that would have been a stunner. Too bad it never happened.

I remember when at one point Richard Attenborough who won an Oscar as a producer and director of Gandhi was attached to Ross project. Just imagine how epic that movie would have been! It was not only going to be about Josephine but a lovely document of Paris in the 1930's. The Josephine Baker had everything that was perfect for Diana, a legend who was arebel, a dancer, beauty, a star, a spy (WWII), a mother, a fading career and a comeback. In my mind, I ran that film many times over.
