I have to say the Cody Foster 4 piece houses and church set and then the 3 piece trees, as they remind me of my kids and grandkids and I miss them so much and don't know if this year we will be together.

I chose #3 the Nutcracker Tree skirt. It is fabulous and the crewel needlepoint makes it a perfect heirloom to pass down for generations. I have also chosen the beautiful frosted garland. The mixture of leaves and evergreen with gold and pearl provides an elegance that will transform any mantle, buffet or hutch for the holidays.
I also wait until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate my home. I do enjoy spending time beforehand looking for that special new decoration or planning my theme for my outdoor wreaths.
I always enjoy reading your posts and was so happy to know that you enjoyed your visit to our town of Franklin TN this past Spring. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season.

Once again, too many to choose from, and all gorgeous choices!

Have to choose #16, the needlepoint Santa tree skirt, knowing what printed canvas now costs, plus the wool and the time, while not inexpensive, a very good price for this lovely skirt.
Also love the magnolia garland #17. Perfect length for a mantle, would add a string or two of mini LED's for a bit of twinkle.

And no, dear Tina, you are not behind in your holiday decorating. We are all so busy doing for others while we try and keep up with the demands everyday life puts on us, that sometimes something has to give so that we can at least a few hours of sleep! I am going to wait until after Thanksgiving so that I can poach greenery from the Christmas tree lots for my front urns. Just going to purchase real wreaths and hang them from fabulous ribbon for my front doors and inside the house, greenery and votives and those gorgeous NC pinecones on the mantles. Purchased several of those wonderful Williamsburg wood fruit tree forms at garage sales, nothing is prettier than those forms when filled and the smell of apples fills the air. Also bought their table form on sale, just add fruit, greenery and you're done! You have an instant centerpiece running down the middle of your table!

Must share this: found the best LED votives at an amazing price at K-Mart last year. I put one in every front window, sometimes two if it needs it. Also a really lovely jute-colored 'linen' tree skirt, with embroidered pine cones and a bit of gold thread running through the branches. Could not believe the number of compliments I received, it looks much more expensive. It's amazing what you can still find in department stores, just keep an open mind.
