The question missed, "normal, average or ordinary". Or it should had none of the above. This question truly confirmed in my mind how the process about changing the voting system will be toyed with to get the results the current Prime Minister wants!

Where is non of the above. Talk about appealing to anyone but the mainstream. The other options should remain, but add one more category.

I chose visible minority as I am considered an angry old white male - I think there may be an issue with your wording ...

Identify as in "I am", or "I know something about", "my child, sibling, parent is", "I sympathize with".
Many of the polls questions were unclear/biased, irrelevant, but this one is the worst. It obviously leaves out large sections of the population, presumably because we are not worth the extra consideration. Not exactly the democracy one would hope for.

    The question is racist

I wear glasses so I was able to answer. Obviously there was a glitch with this question as it was asked as a Yes/No question.

What the heck?! As a straight white person, I guess I am officially invisible in Canada. Nice question. I didn't understand why Trump won until now.

Visible minority - white male. Getting to be more and more rare and more and more discriminated against in aspects from employment to educational grants, to housing priorities. All about the immigrants and every other race but white these days.

Why do we have to identify with these groups or any group, they all want something for nothing. We can just be ordinary people which includes all our disabilities,no ones perfect, but we get by without the hand outs! Why is there not an option for,None of the above?

This sort of question is exactly why our government is out of touch

Don't tell me what to identify with

  • Doug Robertson - 7 years ago

What a stupid question! Where is "none of the above?"

  • Wayne Strong - 7 years ago

Where is "None of the Above"????

  • Peter Karaulshchykov - 7 years ago

31% of respondents identify as "with disabilities". Canadians IMO are rather healty bunch.

he question is a nasty trick from the pollsters, decent ones never resort to this sort of tricks.

The running result means that if I really do not identify with any of the presented choices, I would _rather_ identify with "disabilities" choice than any other.

Disclosure, I have experience in both market and social research. So I chose not to answer - answer _was not_ requied to proceed.

    The question borders on racism.

  • Pauline Thornham - 7 years ago

I don't identify AS any of the choices. I identify with all of them, as in sympathize. No NOTA is available, but should be.

  • David Fotheringham - 7 years ago

I do not identify with any of those listed
