Which do you take off/out first?

I think - The benefits of the boots to the degree that they provide ligament tendon and muscular support should remain on for a period of time after XC until normal size of the ligaments, muscles and tendons occurs - less blood engorgem- and normal physiology is returned to the legs as a whole and in particular where the boots are. We can complicate this matter and discuss how long should these boots that are hopefully providing support to muscles ligaments and tendons as well as protection from hitting and knocking stay on after XCLL. In other words, how long do you keep them on after cross country and when and under what conditions do you ice the legs. I guess there's a procedure that one could put together with regards to looking out after the tendons ligaments muscles in the legs after cross country. For me, one thing's for sure: don't forget to take out the studs before putting your horse in a trailer nothing like a torn-up cornet band. Further, we should poll everybody to see whether or not they think the boots are there for ligament, tendon and muscle support and/or to prevent damage due to knocking and hitting. With often many comments often being made, I ride with sports medicine boots on in the front and yes they get wet and yes they look cumbersome but my guy's front legs aren't the best constructed and we've been competing for 9 years and just did for prelims within 45 days 2 of them in the deep mud and all is well. I swear by the sports medicine boots in front at least for my horse who is 1/5 in the left and 2/5 and the right to die not the best construction of bones, ligaments and tendons. Long cab ride!! Happy Thanksgiving.
