Please make more episodes want to know who the father is and if Rory gets her career going. She had so much going and all the years later she doesn't have a job.
Pretty much just drifting through life.
She decides she wants to write a book that is something you do when you retire.

ASP said to pretty much disregard season seven ever happened. But, per obvious reasons, it's kind of hard for many to disregard it based from the articles that keep refencing how Rory-who graduated from Yale, was offered a job as a writer for Obama's presidential campaign, and how accomplished Rory was by the end of the show-was supposed to utter those two words, after having accomplished all she had accomplished in season seven. Except, ASP didn't have Rory doing any of those things in season seven. So, I am left wondering how did ASP want to develop season 7? Also, the shock value isn't the same for a 32 year old getting pregnant vs a 22 year old. Especially a 32 year old who doesn't even have anything really big going on for her (as it was presumed would be the case based on the last couple of seasons), and who is in an affair with a man who is engaged to somebody else while being in a supposed relationship with somebody vs a 20-21 year old who was doing great by the end of season six. So, continuing this show, in my opinion doesn't matter, because I would be thinking about how ASP wanted this ending back then, and she was stuck with using it now. For me, with that ending at this time, I think it was more like a patchwork done in a hole in the wall, that although it was well done, it still didn't come out as good as when there was no hole. Likewise, although the ending is still appropriate as far as the characters are concerned, it isn't going to bring the same effect that it would have brought 10 years ago when those words were supposed to be uttered by a bright, 22 year old who had a seemingly bright future ahead of her-and this based on where ASP left off in season six, not seven. Which is why I am left to repeat, what exactly did ASP plan to do with the character of Rory through season seven????

I was super excited when I saw that the Gilmore Girls were coming back. I loved how the seasons were a different epasode. But I hated Sookie wasn't in the shows till the end and why did the season have to end with Roy saying she was pregnant I understand we're it came from but it sucks. It leaves so many unanswered questions and we didn't even get to see the reaction of Lorlie or her and Luke's wedding witch we've all been waiting fore. I hope there's another season if not I will be extremely upset and there prob won't be another one but I hope all these comments change the minds of the cast and producer.PLEASE HAVE ANOTHER SEASon!!!!!!!!!

I didn't hate it but I also didn't love it. 8 definitely hope they come out with another season. I am a die hard fan- I love that Loralei and Luke finally get married with the perfect decorations, but I don't like that you made us question their relationship at all. I get that they were all sad and going through their own personal journey with losing Richard what seriously- WTF happened to Rory. She's a home wrecker, really? The Dean mis step was excusable because he was her first love and made her feel safe, etc. But she is a grown woman and that is just a shitty thing to do to another woman. I was alsways a fan of Logans because Rory made him a better person, he truly loved her. So I don't understand why now you would have them cheating together. Why not have her single and re connect with Jesse who always provided the motivation she needed to get her shit together? And seriously- what was the deal with Paul? He was literally the most useless character ever of all time. All his character did was hammer home what a selfish and vapid person Rory has become. She was someone of integrity, someone to look up to. Now she is a hot mess that should absolutely know better, and selfish to boot. I understand that my generation is full of vapid narcissistic whiny babies but there is also those of us who had to work hard. Who have gone through painful times and pulled ourselves up. We have been heartbroken and we would never intentionally do that to someone else. We don't make excuaes, we work hard and learn from our mistakes. Rory was supposed to be one of us. Not just another aimless member of the "30 something gang". Rory should be embarrassed.

If it wasn't for Loralei and Luke I would have hated it. But they are wonderful and inspiring and in so happy they finally got married.

I say don't pay attention to the haters! Of course it took a few minutes for us die hard fans to get used to it...it's been YEARS so obviously things have changed slightly and how could they possibly fit in everything we would want to see in 4 episodes? Impossible! But thought it was an incredible job and great acting on everyone's part. It's pretty incredible how many people were able to return...even small roles I loved getting to see! I LOVED it. Loved getting to be in Stars Hollow again brought so much joy. Now how do we get Netflix to keep going people?!?

  • Sarah - 7 years ago

well that was atrocious! No theme song, no character growth. In fact, Rory seems to be super selfish (doesn't acknowledge lanes kids, when watching paris' kids she is playing on her phone, not getting the website job and being quite unprofessional about it). Ugh so many things I hated. What was with the musical? What a waste of time. And did the people who were at Lorelei's wedding make any sense?

  • Sharon - 7 years ago

We need more.. Hope there is another season

  • Louise Walker - 7 years ago

Ughhh.... binge watched the series again for a refresher before the new episodes aired. Wish I had taken my time with them and enjoyed them a bit more as I am so frustrated with the end of a year in the life - in fact with the full series that I wish I had never watched it and been content with the possibilities I had come up with for Rory in my own mind. The four episodes seemed to be rushed but also at times were filled with unnecessary detail- Stars Hollow musical??!! They should have run a full season of 40 minute episodes would have given more time to fit everything in and space it out appropriately. Was happy with the Logan get together but she never ended up with Jess at the end wasn't that the point of his character all along - he kept coming back and kept Rory on track for her future/ career. Rant over feel but better ????????

  • Alma - 7 years ago

    We want more Gilmore Girls!!!

  • Susan - 7 years ago

I am disappointed with this ending...Rory...was always portrayed as the sensible one...and yes I could see her being with Logan...but never being with him as he cheats on another woman. This is sooooo not full circle...Loralai had Rory when she was young and being an average teenager...Rory being 32...being more mature...knows better...and yet while I love the thought of Rory having a baby...I am not happy it was done this way...this is not the Rory I fell in love with...this is someone they are trying to make fit into the times we are living in...and sooooo not the World of Stars Hollow!!!

  • Debbie - 7 years ago

Please let this not be the ending. I don't really see the point to leave it there. I have been team Logan but I'm not a fan of his engagement and the Logan/Rory affair. I wás very surprised by this ending.

  • Sam - 7 years ago

That can't be the way it ends, it's not fair. Now we are left with more questions, does she expand the inn, does Michelle stay, who is the baby daddy. What about Luke and loralie and the talk of babbies, so much happened that didn't have a conclusion, there needs to be more, so much more.

  • Chris - 7 years ago

Oh my please make more shows it was a great ending all so great

  • NotFiveByFive - 7 years ago

I'm just going to pretend I didn't watch...much happier with my own imagined future of these girls...and the town itself. Guess it's difficult to fall back into character after so many years, but there was such a disconnect imo with everyone. The closeness was gone. I would think Like & Lorelai's relationship would be easy...not strained. And any ounce of goodness Rory posessed after S7 was destroyed. Apparently, she learned nothing with the Dean incident...no growth on her part whatsoever. Just sad. And here comes another screwup? I need my happy, fantasy-like Stars Hollow to be a place of innocense and bliss...not a miserable reality.

  • RB - 7 years ago

It can't be the Wookiee do the math!!!! The Wookiee was in the Spring episode & she tells Lorelai in the fall episode which it says November 5 for Luke & Lorelei's wedding. If it was the wookie she would've been seven months pregnant in the fall episode there's no way it's the wookie. I agree this ending makes makes much more sense 10 years ago than it does now. I was very disappointed in the way they pretrade Rory if they plan on doing another season then I think it was great if this is it it was absolutely horrible ????

  • Natalia - 7 years ago

I want a revival of the revival NOW!

  • Jennifer - 7 years ago

It was so the Wookie. They better do a season 9!!

  • Katie - 7 years ago

I really saw it coming I really hope that there is is season 2 of Gilmore Girls of life in the year I really would like to see Rory and through her pregnancy..please

  • Katie - 7 years ago

I really saw it coming I really hope that there is is season 2 of Gilmore Girls of life in the year I really would like to see Rory and through her pregnancy..please

  • Courtney - 7 years ago

I totally didn't expect that but once I thought about it, the whole scene between Rory and Chris makes sense now because she was asking him about how he felt about Lorelei raising Rory alone. Im going to go out on a limb and assume it's Logan's and she mostly likely won't tell him. I seriously
Hope there is another 4 part special that can finally conclude it but I sincerely doubt it.

  • Mandy - 7 years ago

Seriously?! I'm pretty upset honestly. That is NOOOO way to end a series like that. First of all it was awful that Sookie was only in the show for like 5 min, and then to drop that bomb?! Who is the father....? There better be a follow up season, but my guess is there won't be and I'll be dying from here on out.

  • Tee19 - 7 years ago

Gilmore Girls a year in the life... its is wonderful! The ending blew me away. I hope that its just the beginning of a much anticipated spin off or continuation of the original show. I hope A.S.P. continues the show.

  • Mariah - 7 years ago

Ugh I want to know more how can it go off like that!!!! Need to know more

  • Suzanne - 7 years ago

WHAT?!!! (My actual reaction that freaked out my cats and husband)
And now what??? More seasons??? Answers??? Who's the father??

  • Thomas - 7 years ago

    WHAT THE FLIPPITY FUCK?

  • Frances A Osuch - 7 years ago

It's obvious Rory and Logan were lovers. Not so obvious possible father of Rory's baby? The wookie.

  • Joanne - 7 years ago

The 4 word ending would have made more sense when the show ended, Rory would have been much younger and more in line with the young Lorelai.

  • Rebecca - 7 years ago

So I think we'll have other season?

  • Em - 7 years ago

I'm FURIOUS with the ending. For almost a decade, since I was a TEENAGER I have longed for this revival to come. I have waited and wished and fan-fictioned my way through the last 9 years just waiting for Amy to come back and finally answer my questions and give me closure. I have an unnatural need for closure and not having it drives me insane.. so I waited, patiently, for all my dreams to come true, and what do I get? MORE BLOODY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.

I totally didn't expect this ending. However, I should have seen it coming because it makes complete sense. Coming into the revival- I was absolutely hoping for a single Rory ending. I got that and more! To me, Rory's pregnancy signifies another generation of Gilmore Girls and closeness between her and her child similar to her and Lorelai, which makes me so happy. In addition, I have a feeling of completeness now that was lacking in the original finale of season 7. I love the Gilmore Girls and I think those final four words represent so much specialness.
