On Black Friday 2016 . . .
We spent more time in the Kohl's check-out line than actually shopping, but it was OK: we made friends
We changed stations and listened to non-Christmas music if a Christmas song came on that more than one of us didn't like.
We stopped at Starbucks for our annual caffeine pick-me-up
