Who in the right mind is going to spend like $60 buck round ticket, sit on a a train for 2-3 hours, steal something (that they can bring back on a train) and take the train back home for another 2-3 hours? That's an insanely dumb thing to say. Like it's bizarrely stupid. I cannot comprehend how you would ever think that is a realistic scenario. Unless you've got some treasure worth $100,000+, it's not going to be an issue and even then you can do already do the exact same thing with a car. Should we close down the highways also?
You're going to be okay. Just breath. But if you still want to be isolated from the world there are plenty of small towns you can go live in.

I'm very excited for this project. Connecting Fort Wayne to Chicago and Ohio would make visiting family and getting them here much less daunting. I love this city and a rail connection can only make it better. Hopefully this is the beginning of a larger rail network in the state; a connection to Indy and Louisville would be amazing.

Who in their right mind would want to come to Fort Wayne or Columbus to shop when you already live in Chicago? This is all about taking business away from these communities and all the other smaller towns to be spent in Chicago. With the awful economy as a result of decades of corruption and liberal failures Illinois is now wanting our revenue....I don't think so.

These rail programs are almost always boondoggles that swallow up massive amounts of tax money. Their projections aren't worth the paper they are printed on. And why would I want people from Chicago coming through Fort Wayne? Hop off the train, burglarize some homes, and head back home. Yeah, great idea. I have a rule of thumb - if tom Henry supports it, it is a bad idea. This is undoubtedly a bad idea.

Fantastic. Great news. Wish it could have happened long ago.2nd largest city in the state, and we have to go to Waterloo, long overdue.
