    For those who have difficulty understanding the term "alternative fact", here is another example:

    fact: Donald Trump makes crude verbal statements about women

    alternative fact: Bill Clinton sexually assaults, rapes and has multiple extra marital affairs with women

    So we see here how the juxtaposition of "alternative fact" against "fact" can have a profound effect on the direction of any subject matter.

    The term "alternative fact" may sound like an attempt at semantic subterfuge, but in fact may be easily understood by the following example:

    fact: the majority of rapists are men

    alternative fact: the majority of rape victims are men

    this example of "alternative fact" may help illustrate how reportage may be interpreted in vastly different ways depending on which facts are either included or excluded from reportage...
