I'm a female who has this issue (sometimes). At least dudes can aim against the back wall to quiet the sound. In the girl's room, another woman will absolutely know whether you're going or not, how long it took you to start, how long you went for, etc. But it's not so bad that I avoid restrooms. If there is a lot of noise or no one else in there, no problem. (FYI, opiates make this problem a lot worse.)
And taking a poo... well, that's not even an option. Do you know how much my stomach hurt at the end of Outdoor School? :/
