Do you think President Trump should expand refugee restrictions to more than 7 countries?

I think we need to look real hard at this. eventually yes, and we need to work hard to shut off refugee acceptance while at the same time creating safe zones in thier own country. they need help, we are in a position to help, but bringing them here is not the best solution

Absolutely!! If we don't want to end up being a 3rd world country than we need to take the nesserray steps and we need to do it NOW!!!

I think he should go ahead and do it now and get it over with while the fire is hot. Then once we get the system tweeked and perfected it will be forgotten.

I voted for Eventually, but I lean toward a yes. I have questions. I wonder if extending the restrictions means only for the seven countries listed or would there be other ones added? Once we get a good vetting process going, will that be administered to all who seek admittance?

They also know how tobplay the loosey goosey H1B visa game as well as student visa game (program) left wide open by Obozo tring to collect votes for demobrats.

The radicals are coming in from everywhere...they know how to play the refugee game...nothing wrong with a 90-120 day halt until better vetting can be established.

I'm very concerned about the one's that have already been able
to get into the USA! I believe finding them is most important!

    This says it all:
In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.
    Theodore Roosevelt

Absolutely! ESPECIALLY because of all the hate and discontent spouted from the mouths of libtards and the illegal immigrants/refugees already in this country! We are definitely not a safe country! Thank you, Mr President, for looking out for us!

The first job of the president and our military is to defend and protect AMERICAN CITIZENS from all enemies, both foreign and domestic. With attacks by ISIS on the rise across the Globe, this SHOULD be a no-brainer... why some people refuse to see that is beyond my comprehension...

    Darn Auto Correct! !
THIS is America and Yes...We ARE the Melting POT of Immigration!

  • lberry1028 - 7 years ago

Thus is America and yes... we are the Melting Pit of Immigration. However....because this is America..One Nation..under GOD ..indivisible and Justice for ALL LEGAL AMERICANS! To live here LEGALLY and Assimilate to the values with which this great Nation was founded. If you don't agree and you refuse to Assimilate then this is NOT your America ..this is NOT your home.

Totally agree, Whitney Runge. Well said.

I think anyone who is not a legal citizen of America should be vetted on tough standards. I also believe that no one but legal American citizens get any benefits until they attempt to get citizenship and learn English, and assimilate to Americans way of life and laws. I believe if these people are forced to work and assimilate then there will be no reward to coming here and staying illegal. If you want to reap the benefits of being in America, then follow the laws, assimilate, and seek citizenship, and get trained or get a job. We are a nation of immigrants but they all came here through proper channels and couldn't wait to become American citizens!!

I think all immigrants should have the same vetting process
