I am a veteran with two kids my daughter wore uniforms from the time she started kindergarten 2 to graduate high school, my son is in MPS and wear regular clothes to school the problems that I experience at MPS with my son and other kids is jealousy of one another. Not one time did I experience this with my daughter to hold 12 years. I also experience firsthand how this works being in the military the only difference from one soldier to the next was their name was their rank. Our government knows this works and other countries do also becauses all military soldiers all over the world a trained this way. Look up the word uniformity don't you think this is something our kids need to be taught at a young age. I think it will remove some of the jealousy in our kids.

I agree with Alvin. I see a lot of cost targeting parents. What about the teachers coming to school looking anyway. Then I get a response of its not in their contract.....????. I should be allowed to dress my child the way I see fit. It's not my problem that other parents might choose to get their nails hair and those ugly eyelashes fine instead of taking care of their child(ren). MPS need to invest their dollars better. Using 100k for the movies isn't. BOOKS!!!! I'm sick of all if the other cost that I have had to take on. INTERNET..... Almost $2400 a year. SOOOOO NO IM NOT A FAN OF THIS!

Where is funding going to come from? I can't not aford to pay for uniforms for my kids in Mps. My tax dollars I rather see to help Mps with books computers other learning equipment and fair salary for our teachers.
