Increasing the rate of tax in any way is wrong. We are already overtaxed in this country. The unfortunate thing is that the more money the fiscus receives the more is wasted, stolen or simply poorly managed. Taxing the so called wealthy will only bring in marginal returns and if it becomes to onerous then the wealthy leave. We have seen this so many times before in countries that have tried to apply these practices. So yes increase the taxes as much as you want but dont complain if your tax revenue still continue to decline not matter what efforts you apply
