No, we need to stay in. The other country's need to pay their fair share though. From what I've seen so far Nicky Haley is going to hold them to a standard like they've never seen before...

They also need to leave the U.S.

Look at how many times UN Soldiers were supposed to protect Israel. On numerous occasions Israel was attacked the UN Soldiers abandoned them and ran. Israel must protect their selves and never trust the UN. Reports of UN Soldiers raping and killing Civilians is a well known fact.

I would like to be able to say yes. I think we need to stay in just to be informed especially since they meet on American soil.

We have to think not just of now, but for the future. A radical decision to pull out will cause major headaches beyond our borders. Remember we are the ones that help balance the council. Without us it will go south. I agree with another commenter, that maybe we should pull back some $$$. But there are repercussions way beyond our borders, for this. The UN could decide not to have it here in NYC anymore. Which every country brings huge $$$, to have a presence in NYC, the Worlds Trade City of the World. Yes, NYC has fought with many Council countries of paying parking fines. There careless idea of parking anywhere anytime with no care for anyone else , but remember, we also have consulates in many places around the world. I'm sure some our
Members can be a bit rogue in their countries. I had an issue 26 years ago this month , as a US citizen in Ireland. The head people thought nothing of being rude & crude. That was when the Kennedys had a family member there running it. They treated me as a US citizen like I was a piece of filth. The arrogant attitude, I'm high and mighty; you can't touch me. Oh and by the way what do you need. If I need anything I think I'd go to England for my passport issues. Being that Europe is open border for Europeans , just fit in with all the others.
My thoughts are to stay in, our Allies in the UN need us just as much as we need them. There are issues I have with some Israeli police / military. Some of the cruelty in treating others , especially Palestinians and non Israelis , they have some work to do. Breaking families apart, etc. Treating the border issues like its wartime everyday. By putting your guard down they come and attack. But they treat all Palestinians with arrogance. The US tends not to want to know the dark side of Israels issues. We treat it like Kid Gloves.
The media here doesn't show what BBC shows , nor of what European nations like Ireland see. Our news stations are more concerned of entertainment news , ex ABC news- knowing what Kanye West or JayZ or Paris Hilton or Beyoncé , then the Real News of the World. Only One American News Network ( OANN) shows the real deals & gives you history lessons at commercials about our Nation. No cars , no drug manufactured ads , no Budweisser or Miller or Sam Adams either.
Real News. No buttery affects either.

To put it simply, for us to continue to support or participate in the U.N. in any way is to support the globalist agenda; which is our greatest enemy.

Before leaving, withdrawal of some funding would send a message to the UN that the US will not be told what to do or who we will support. Israel is our ally and any country who opposes them is our enemy. These are the end times.

If the US isn't going to pull out then we should hold out funds until they back off of Israel.
UN has threatened to get involved in the US gun laws, voter ID. And other aspects of our country when Obama was in office. They have no right in my opinion in Our laws when there is ISIS running rampant and not a word is said. I would like to see the US out of the UN if not hold our funding to min. And No additional funding.

Pulling out may not be advantageous but pulling the additional funding that we have provided in the past could certainly be good leverage. Although we provide 22% of the UN budget comma we also gave more than 10 billion in addition last year. There's no reason for us to continue to send our taxpayer dollars to the UN under its present policies.

I need more information to really say if I would want them to pull out or not. What would repercussions be? Would it be seen by our allies as a bad thing? Just need more info.
