Let's face the facts. I love Brandon Davidson. But the reality is he is a third pairing defenceman who can step up and play second pairing minutes in an emergency for a short term. So they traded a guy that barring injury was most likely going to play only two or three more games before seasons end. I'm fine with this deal because they traded a dman that they weren't going to play for a forward that they will play most nights.
