    "LEFT" used to mean "LIBERAL".

    NOT ANYMORE.

    LEFT means SOCIALIST

    LEFT means FASCIST

    LEFT means MARXIST

    LEFT MEANS COMMUNIST.

    PERIOD.

    I stand with MY PRESIDENT:
    PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP.

    ALWAYS.

It would be nice but since 911 I don't think it will ever be the way it was. That day changed all our lives forever. But hopefully we will be able to get better with Trump in.

I don't think we can ever get back to what it was like, things have progressed too much and the interaction between people is too mistrusting...My hopes that Trump could at least slow down what I'm seeing as a take-over... are dimmed by the level of so many peoples perception today. Aside from the concerns of world happenings and whatever familial situation that might have been occurring, my neighbors used to be all more or less on the same wavelength regardless of what their background might have been. There might have been differences of opinion on who to vote for..but either choice wouldn't have changed day-to-day living much. I first became aware of the vitriol with Bush, Jr. He might not have been a stellar President but to this day I think of him as a good man. The extent of the blow-back at that time from liberal quarters was huge but miniscule compared to today. I see the seeds of communistic thinking not from the pockets of a relatively small group or two but spread to mainstream..where the rights and privileges of the American citizen are being usurped by those with a different set of values, using our rights to promote their own. I'm not one to inject religious beliefs into a political discussion...too many are Godless today but I would hope that common sense would prevail.

I don't think we will ever capture the innocents of "the good old days" but we can certainly make things better. Because of social media everything that used to be personal is public and people try to "outdo" each other. If we can get back to family, friends and community being important it would be a start.

The younger people coming up are much different, I'm 60 and as kids we were out going, tough, unrestricted in our thoughts and what we did, we were free in mind and sprit, not so with kids today, they are rarely seen out side just playing like we did. It's the younger people starting to run things today and they are different.

I said no because we've come to far with technology and too many decades of brainwashing and that is being taught even more every year. What we can get back to is the greatness of having the best economy, trade, military, which will bring us back to having the strength and respect to make deals with other countries about everything that effects our country.

President Trump's win restored my hope & I do believe he is capable of getting America back on track, but after all the unrelenting backlash emerged it caused me pause & dampened that hope.
My worst fears were confirmed after accomplishing the impossible (we Trump supporters helped get him in the White House), but it also revealed the depth of Liberal stronghold already established in our country. I realized at this point it was not only extreme liberalism & even socialistic ideology deep rooted, I would venture to say a level of communism leanings. All the resistance, the protesters, the lame celebrities, the marches & at times violent outbreaks & attacks on the conservative populous. This liberal ideaology has consumed a large percentage of the American people & I often wonder just how many of "us" true Americans who love this country are left. I have hope & faith in President Trump's abilities, I guess my hope is being tested because of those among us who I question regarding their loyalty to our country & Americsn values. That is the reason "why my hope is replaced with doubt", but I do keep praying. I'll close with a (borrowed phrase) I heard a few months ago: "A pessimist looks down & bumps their head - An optimist looks up & loses their footing - The realist looks forward & adjust their path accordingly".
    Thank You DML,

I don't think kids today, have an appreciation for how pure our country was. From not locking doors at night, to picnics and carnivals in the summertime. Instead, they would rather sit at a computer and play a stupid game. The kids of our generation had imagination. We could take a piece of plywood mount some wheels on it and pretend it was a hot rod, or an airplane. That imagination is what carried us into adulthood and made us creative! We were not limited by what was on a screen. If we want this country to be great again. Take away all these games with violence and destruction in them. Teach these kids to be CONstructive not! DEstructive!

I wish we could recapture better, more innocent days but sadly our culture has changed and we have too many Americans who call themselves progressive who seem bent on progressing this country into oblivion. They are haters of the American tradition that made us great and they view this country as the bad guys of the world. I don't know how you change that mentality. They have been brainwashed by the progressive left. I believe Trump can make a difference. He's a fighter and we have to be willing to fight with him because the anti-american and anti-Trump people will not give up with the likes of George Soros and his money behind them.

President Trump cannot do it alone, and he stated such. We need to support and help our President as much as we can. But along side that, we the people need to have values and teach thise values to our youth. We need to remain aware and voice concerns on our streets, in our neighborhoods, our towns, states, and yes our government. We as people need to keep watch over those who we put in office, we share the blame because we know power leads to corruption. I believe we can get back to the good old days but it is going to take all of us being involved, and more acceptance of others that want and work for the same as us. God Bless America, God Bless Our Troops and God Bless President Trump.

Progress is moving forward. We need to stay current to be relevant. Unfortunately people have changed too. Basic decency and respect seems to have taken a back seat. People are too focused on "right now" and not looking at the impact of choices being made for the big picture. We can't "fix" everyone, make everyone happy, or help everyone who needs it... That's just reality. Life isn't fair. You can't make people be, say, or do things against their will. And that's OK. But hopefully President Trump will be able to get us back on track, and lay the groundwork for bringing us together. I have hope, but people have a way of falling short of their capabilities.

The good old days (I was born in '54) will forever remain a memory and after my generation is gone the good old days will become the '70's-'90's and so on. But what I hope will remain is devoted patriotism, love of family, and continued belief in one God, one flag, and what makes America great. I'm not sure the future generations will ever know the truth of how our country began;there's so much distortion and opinions are thought to be fact. The original immigrants were people of dignity and they were the real "dreamers". They took nothing but gave all they could to become citizens and help weave the fabric of this great NEW country. Greed has been our downfall and too many chiefs in charge confusing the masses with personal agendas not the people and not holding sacred the constitution and follow the laws. We need to always stay true to our original founding and pay attention to the lessons of our past. We can't go back in time but we have every chance to redeem those main ideals that made us great.

I think America as we knew it won't be the same because of all the hate and how it's destroyed the minds of many people. Many young folks don't even really know what America is about. All they have seen is negativity and are basically don't care about nothing. It's sad yes but it's reality. I will always have hope but I feel in my heart the Old America is gone. ????

President Trump definitely is the only hope we had to change things around. Senators and congressmen have a chance to save America and support Donald Trump it's the only hope we have he should not have to fight the establishment he is the leader and they need to follow and line and do what's right for America I'm tired of the political correctness there's nothing correct about what the left side is doing disgracefull for leaders to promote and support they're protesting and encouraging disobedience. The voters are watching and we need to get rid of the Dead weight if all they want to do is stall and cause problems to prohibit changes that are needed then they need to be voted out of office there's some that has been there over 30 years that are no longer effective and are not in touch with reality

Americans are awake! Change for the better. Can't be asleep like we have "in the good old days". Those good old days were good we thought but better for our goverment.
