Why is this question being asked? Dennis are you loosing faith in him? Trump does tweet too much but all in all he is working his butt off and has done more in the first few months then the previous bozo every did. Why is everyone questioning him.. Leave him alone, support him and he will do good things. Just saying..

This bill is a betrayal of conversation values. They should just do a straight repeal.

  • Linda Dempsey - 7 years ago

I will always have confidence in President Trump, but I will be disappointed only because he let Paul Ryan handle it. I don't like Paul Ryan and believe he is sabotaging the President. He needs to be removed as Speaker of the House.

    DML
Change, change course now! Ice burg sighted 7 years ago today. This change is needed to get The ship on a different course.

This OBAMA ship (Obamacare) needs a hard starboard rudder (right turn). It will take two years for the ship to start its turn. It will take 8 years for the ship to make 180 degrees.

I have complete confidence in Trump, never seen anyone work so hard!! He has only just begun & has done well, in spite of the Dems working against him. I don't understand the healthcare enough yet. I want pre existing conditions to be protected, it must be affordable & I surely DON'T want illegals to be insured.

  • Barry McCocciner - 7 years ago

If the president wins, will I lose confidence in him? DUMB QUESTION

  • Dave - 7 years ago

If the ACA includes illegals I'll be pissed off and totally not support it. I would lose confidence in Trump if it covered illegals

  • Rhonda Ridgley - 7 years ago

Pres. Trump is learning first-hand that the "Establishment" runs Washington. Those are republican and democrat. Those are the corrupt individuals who's only concern is for their own pocketbooks. Tenn limits is the ONLY hope left for America. I think president Trump has been smacked squarely in the eyes now as to just how corrupt our politicians are...there were such underlying threats from the RINO's displayed in the hearings the past 2 days...

  • Marsha Morehouse - 7 years ago

There is no need to push through a Remanufactured Obamacare Bill so quickly. Just Repeal, and replace later. This is why we voted for Trump. Just because Paul Ryan says this is the best we can hope for right now doesn't make it so. Do not trust Ryan or any of the previously self proclaimed Never Trumpers.

  • Robin Washington - 7 years ago

Earlier I took the poll and stated I would stand behind our President for many reasons... and I still will.. I am concerned however that this last minute change to allow illegals to gain healthcare benefits is going to cause him a whole lot of problems. I do not like this change...please Mr President rethink this bill... we need full repeal and replacement of this healthcare bill... please put a total halt on this and go back to the drawing board! It's not too late yet!!!!

    *sorry 1/20/17

  • Arizona Kalde - 7 years ago

I think people believe he may be conforming to the GOP establishment & not following through on his promises. Its funny people wanted this done right away but now they say slow down, you can't it both ways. Remember: Trump gave us, we the people, back the govt on 1/20/16...so remind him of what you want & wish dont leave it to the crooked career polishitians they cant find their buttocks with both hands. Write a letter, send a postcard a day, call & leave a msg, twitter, FB...get your voice heard tell him how this bill will effect your wallet, because at the end of the day that's where it hits. I have complete confidence that President Trump is doing the best he can for our country. They are taking the steps to pass through what they can NOW! More changes to come later. Democrats will not vote for anything our president wants, so they HAVE to do what they can now without them.

  • Gigi - 7 years ago

I just read Scarlett's article about the Republican's removing the provision in the new healthcare bill that would prohibit illegal aliens from receiving healthcare. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! If this is the case, our government needs to get completely out of healthcare, NOW! DRAIN THE SWAMP PRESIDENT TRUMP! These politicians just don't get it!!!!!!

  • Ci Mcdonald - 7 years ago

Still praying for God to mute Trump' antagonizing and self-centered tweets. Praying God will illuminate the goodness I know that is inside him, and give him God-given power to lead us out of this SLOP!

  • Patricia - 7 years ago

First let me say this bill will not affect me, as I have health care. But I have a comment.
    (1) Federal government should not be in the health care business.
    (2) I support the President
    (3) I think Congress needs to spend more time on this issue and get it right. Listen to the people who need it and are on it.
    (4) if President Trump doesn't like it, he should not sign it, as it will be a reflection on him.

  • Gigi - 7 years ago

I don't believe this question is fair at this point because they are still negotiating AND amending this bill and probably will be until late Thursday. BUT I am not happy with the recent Paul Ryan versions. This is an opportunity that will NEVER come again! I hope President Trump understands EVERYTHING about this bill before endorsing it. WE'RE COUNTING ON HIM TO MAKE SURE THIS IS DONE RIGHT, for us, WE THE PEOPLE!

  • DARLA FREY - 7 years ago

I feel he's being setup. Get rid of Ryan.

  • Renee' - 7 years ago

I'm sick to my stomach to watch the current events unfold knowing the evil Democrats are laughing at us. The President has ONE chance to turn it all around by not passing this bill until the obamacare coverage mandates are gone and focusing on tax reform instead..Let Obamacare implode let the democrats wear it as a badge of shame.

  • lee - 7 years ago

Why should I lose confidence the man is working his butt off at 70 years old .everyone is still fighting him, I don't care if the plan suckes,I can't hurt more than, now an for the last 8 years. I would not lose confidence in him anyone that fights like he does with everyone fighting him at every turn and corner and tries hard like he does for us and I'm going to turn my back on ,him sorry no. It took Obama 8 years to destroy America and everyone expects PRESIDENT TRUMP to do everything now in 50 days,or even 4 years. People think of your own work your own jobs and how hard it is to get anything done and you expect the president that's running millions of people and a massive country to get everything done now when everyone is fighting him, Really???

  • Kenny Airheart - 7 years ago

Mr President, we voted for you because we are against the establishment (Ryan, Mconnel, Cornyn Ect.) make them follow your lead. Drain the swamp and start in the GOP! The American people voted for Donald Trump not the GOP or the Democrats.

  • Barbara Dmuchowski - 7 years ago

From what I hear premiums and deductibles are too high. It must be affordable Obama care is not affordable .

  • Elena - 7 years ago

It looks like President is being set up to fail. So many thing being accomplished against him feels like he is concentrating on wrong thing. I wish he would prevent bad ghings than let them happen and then try to fix it. Im not understanding why his compain keeps reacting to things that dems throw at them and instead they can better attack with better preparation. The people that surround him not all are genuine and whish him well.

  • Kathy mckenzie - 7 years ago

I believe there are so many factions working against the President. Is he being snowed by all of the Dems that have always been against him? i.e. Paul Ryan? I'm 61 yrs old. What does this plan do for me. I don't want to be on Medicaid. None of my Drs take it. I pray Pres Trump has a few cards up his sleeve.

  • Shawn - 7 years ago

The only way healthcare will be affordable to all Americans is to: 1. Get a handle on the billions of dollars spent each year on fraudulent claims. 2. For the insurance companies to lower their rates considerably. 3. For the doctors to also lower their rates. The rich people of our government will not or cannot not do anything to change this situation in my opinion. They don't know what it's like to struggle with making ends meet.

  • Mary Ellen Watts - 7 years ago

I support and trust Donald Trump more than ever. He's fighting for the Amrican people while up against the hateful democrats and media. His own Republican Party is not rallying around him, as they should. He needs us to stay loyal and not waiver in our support. He is the most determined and hardest worker I know..and all for us.

  • Nancy - 7 years ago

I've already lost confidence in President Trump, he is looking incompetent as being President, if he would stop with the damn petty stuff on twitter and start getting stuff done and ignore the left, he would do fine. He gets side tracked from the left easily, he just needs to say what ever you have against me, I'll see you in court, but for now I have work to do.

  • Elizabeth Gambino - 7 years ago

I am an Obamacare participant and my rates have steadily gone up 80% since I started. One of my primary reasons for voting for President Trump was his promise to lower rates. I am suffocating with these payments although my coverage is great. Will be very disappointed if this bill passes as is.

  • Michelle Imhausen - 7 years ago

My worries are the fact I have several pre existing conditions and have a son who is mentally handicapped. I'm so afraid of that coverage going away and the suicide rate rising even further :( I too see a psychiatrist because I watched my father n lie be ran over by his tractor a year ago! I have PTSD! If that coverage goes away and I can't get my medicine I'm scared I'll be st suicide risk myself:(

  • Neil - 7 years ago

The new Ryan Care is a joke!, How about the government get out of the health care business

  • LK Withrow - 7 years ago

There is no way on earth I am losing confidence in President Trump at this point REGARDLESS of setbacks or bills passing or not. If anything, I'm even stronger in my support. The unprecedented opposition, lies, and false reporting about both him AND his promises should garner an even GREATER outpouring of support among those who elected him. Not less! I for one will NOT diminish my support at this early stage. He's already accomplished more in less than three months than I expected. I refuse to be swayed by the opposition's campaign of hate, lies, and propaganda.

  • Linda Burgess - 7 years ago

I feel that President Trump is fighting against the establishment GOP but this healthcare plan is not good and he should not be trying to get it passed. He should be insisting on a better plan or let Obamacare fail. If it fails, it will be on the Democrats that passes it and the Republicans who couldn't come up with a better plan. Paul Ryan will go down......which should happen. Why can't he call in those in Congress willing to craft a better bill and work with them? Then those Congress members can be submitted for voting.

  • Terry Wilson - 7 years ago

Not sure...I trust President Trump as far as trying to do what he said before the election, repelling the aca. However, I do not trust a few of House and Senate leaders too keeping our Pres. informed on what is really going on with the proposed bill. Why can we not have a bill that just reverses the Mandates, taxes, and fines (cheaper to pay the fines than paying for insurance you can not use)? That way employers can start hiring FULL time workers again, and us borderline poverty Americans will not be penalized for not having insurance because we are unemployed or have a lawn service company of one. All that said, there needs to be something done about the cost of care and drugs. All anyone ever talks about is the cost of insurance...not the cost of the actual care. God Bless our President for standing up for us little people.

  • Dianne Tatom - 7 years ago

I don't trust Paul Ryan, he is a snake!!! I think Ryan is setting Trump for failure!!!

  • H Stern - 7 years ago

President Trump is doing the best he can, inspite of all the barriers. This Country needs to be raddled...wake up America...if his promises he made are stopped by the left...we are headed for a 3rd world country, if we are not already there!! Make your "judgement" after his 4 yrs in office. "Let's make America great again".

  • Robin Washington - 7 years ago

Sorry for previous errors in the previous post. I tried to edit and couldn't

  • Linda Berry - 7 years ago

I'm on board with Trump 100%. He is under SOOOO much defiance and has to fight like hell for EVERYTHING. I truly believe this is the ONLY healthcare bill he could get passed with these damn Liberals. However...
As much as I DO support Our President Trump I do NOT support I do NOT Trust Paul Ryan. He is a snake only interested in advanceing HIS political agenda....NOT 's best for Americans. If these Liberals were mandated to have the SAME healthcare they are voting for I guarantee we would ALL be well taken care of.

  • Robin Washington - 7 years ago

I believe the President is working as hard as he can to fulfill promises...this is a presidency at it's infancy..eould I have like to seen a full repeal, absolutely, but we all know how the Demsand Libs have been fighting him on everything! At this point in time though, I think this will be the best we can get... I am still at awe over the judge's over ride of exec orders... why did that not happen in the last presidents era(or should I say error?!) I can only say, I believe that God will have a final say when all is said and done. I think Devine intervention was done and there is a plan in place.. may not be what and when we the American voters hoped it would be.. but I have faith in President Trump... Liok who else would be in this place if not him! It would be more of full Obama or , if possible, worse! I will continue to fight and pray for this country and our President and his family and staff!

  • Lynn - 7 years ago

This isn't what he promised on his campaign trail. I pay way too much for insurance, my deductible is a joke. I can't even afford to get sick.

  • Kim Jordan - 7 years ago

I think He should take his time and not listen to Paul Ryan! But I'm with him 100% he's not perfect, he will make mistakes, But Do it right!

  • Karen Moore - 7 years ago

It's looking like he wants to pass anything so he can start on something else. Instead he should be making sure it works the first time and everything is in it now to help us. I will be mad if my deductible and premium doesn't come don't. The cost is breaking us!

  • Glory - 7 years ago

Please just repeal this monstrosity and stay out of my personal life.
