Sharon Case has always been one of my favorites on the program. The last few years she has been given
unpleasant storylines turning her into some kind of ditz or unpleasant character. It's no wonder some of those negative comments were made. As one of you wrote she doesn't write the storylines she acts them and does a good job of it. The storyline of her marrying Victor was obnoxious.. That was a stupid idea. Look, I don't expect writers nor do the writers expect to be writing like Tolstoy, Faulkner, or Dostoyefsky. That's not the point of the soap. For me, it's a time-out, a cup of tea, and just having fun with these fun tales.
It's relaxing time. This is the only soap I watch which started because someone I knew was on for a short time and I got hooked. I've watched since the beginning except when I was out of the country for a while and Sharon was one of my favorites from the beginning. And I've said if Sharon goes, I go. So please make some
good storylines for Sharon. I kept wishing while she was given those unpleasant storylines she would suddenly do something heroic. Hopefully, the new writers will make those of you who dislike Sharon (storylines have to be the reason for that, enjoy her. As someone above wisely wrote, she doesn't write the script, only acts them and as I see it does a darn good job of it. Yes, I'm sorry she didn't get her due for an Emmy.

I like Jess Walton and not a fan of Sharon Case but her acting was very good during this story line and better than the story line of Jill this season.
