Before i came off the road July 26,2017 I lived in my truck so much that I have been in 5 trucks in the 3.3 years I drove for Shelman&Sons Trucking that Laris Shelman made the stataement multiple times that the MECHANICS CAN NOT FIX THE EXHAUST LEAK along with the other multiple malfunctions of the truck CAN NOT BE WORKED ON BECAUSE I'M ALWAYS ASLEEP OR IN THE TRUCK.NOT to mention he would not send the truck to the CUMMINS DEALERSHIP TILL I WAS UNDER A LOAD and on 1 run to FOOD LION DC in Statesville,NC I told him and his wife that on the return load when i got the equipment back to Winfield,Iowa I waz quiting.
He proceeded me to tell me to take the truck to the dealership in NC to put it in the shop
I did that and when i kept calling the dealership to see if truck was finished being worked they told me NO
It stayed at the dealership for a week before they said it was ready and they HADN'T FIXED a darn thing i complained about and that was due to Laris Shelman instructing them on what to fix or not to fix.
The last truck i was in before i finally quit was 1.3 years and over 100,000 miles later.
Back in february of 2017 i had over 100,000 miles that i had put on the truck making deliveries and picking up commodities that shipped.
Reason I know that milage amount is because I asked one of his son's to look at the begining mileage to the milage at that particular milage point. Please keep in mind I GAVE 5 TWO WEEK NOTICES 4 of them I was an idiot and let them talk me out of quiting but when my daughter started college i didnt let them talk me out of quiting.
The job i had secured prior to qjiting was given to someone else because the person that said they would get me home didnt get me home till 3 weeks after i had quit my job and i had just gotten another job officially til 8/31/2017.
