If there is direct evidence, produce it. Otherwise, I find it appalling that Bill O'Reilly would be fired based upon uncorroborated evidence.

Billy O NOT GUILTY ! I don't believe any of it the way the Dems are telling it , it's all BS!

No, absolutely not. If this happens it will add to the list fostering my depression regarding how the haters, the Liberals and Democrats and whomever is driving their evil hate are being allowed to make new rules for America. These people are demented and how can they command such a following? I know it goes far deeper than any one of us is willing to admit. I do my research but I do not understand the apathy. We the people seem to have lost our power once Donald Trump was elected. DML, you and "Mama" Lynch solidly have my trust. I'll keep on keeping on with you and what you represent.

This story was from 15 years ago. No one tells us this. The payout was due to his younger children not being harassed. No guilt present.
    No smoke, no fire.

Are you kidding me!?! O'Reilly makes too much money for the network for them to fire him, even if he was guilty. Just like they all overlooked Tiger Woods when he had all his indiscretions. There's no morals here, just money.

A settlement does not admit guilt. I don't know the specifics but in AMERICA you are innocent until proven guilty. His character has never been in question and I wouldn't put it past any democrat to pull something like this. He has done more good with his fame than alot of others. So I am going to give him the benefit of doubt, that's what I would want people to do for me.

He is a great commentator. We don't have many we can trust to tell the truth when it comes to news. His private and personal business does not concern me at this time in our lives. We have soooooo much more to be concerned with. Let's keep those that will tell the truth when it comes to news. I don't always agree with his opinions, and he is over confident in himself BUT we need to be informed with the truth. as world news happens.
    Too many Fake news outlets.
    Too few truthful news outlets.
Keep him and keep up the good work FOX NEWS!!!

Who pays out 13 M dollars for the fun of it... Where there is smoke...
And, we have known this, these allegations started many years ago, just follow the paper trail.
And for those of you who belieive that because you are a republican, you can not be a slime, or start talking about Clinton...knock it of all ready.
A slime is a slime, and should be held responsible, no matter creed, income, fame or ethnicity or political affiliation.

Amazing how liberals jump on their high horses when the negative news involves a conservative - how quickly they forget the shameful antics of President Clinton and how many liberals rallied around him - no talk of politicizing "common decency" then or the President bringing racism, misogynism, etc back to the White House then. Please give me a break - seems awfully coincidental that the strongest conservative voice at Fox has his job threatened - in this country you're supposed to be innocent until PROVEN guilty. Frankly, I'm tired of the far left's desperate attempt to stamp out every strong right-wing conservative. That lawsuit against the President for telling his security people to get a protester out of the room is so pitiful and ridiculous. The ironic thing is - the more desperate the smear campaign by the left, the more they discredit their own party and push moderates and independents away.

Maybe put him on admin leave until this has been resolved. If found guilty - fired. If not put him back on.

If they continue to let Slick Willy Clinton walk around free, and we all know what HE DID, Then Bill deserves to continue in his career and position (without further self inflicted wounds) as long as SW goes free. We think this is his wake up call however and somebody should pull him aside and give him some WISE. Counsel.

I think it is a witch hunt. And Alan the racist is OBAMA, not PRESIDENT DONALD J TRUMP.

  • Aunt Suesue - 7 years ago

His whole career had no complaints or allegations until now. I'm assuming he settled to not go through years of court. What happened to all the Trump women alleging against him ? All about money & politics. SMH

I find it hard to believe that this is true. There has been so many untrue stories reported this last year that simply because of that I choose to believe it is a smear campaign. The liberals have destroyed America making it an embarrassment to be an American. President Trump hasn't made America racist... The liberals did.

If the article is correct in stating that he has never had a sexual harassment complaint in 20 yrs (even anonymously) then the question must be asked if this is yet another smear campaign. I don't believe he should be fired because settling is not really proof of guilt. Perhaps he settled because he just didn't want his family to deal with the side show this would turn out to be? My question is why would the women settle? Money is more important than the principle of the thing? If its not important enough for the women to pursue further then its not important enough for me to further speculate on guilt.

not that i watch fox much except to get the headlines then i go to the net to get good info. i do not know the details of this story, but cant help but to wonder if this is a witch hunt against a "sorta of" conservative...again i dont know the details but it is a question we should also ask

  • Kat - 7 years ago

Is it true? Or just more smoke and mirrors to deflect something bigger?

  • Dianna - 7 years ago

Alan, I am a Republican and don't feel this poll has anything to do with politics but then everything is about bad politics these days and bad attitudes such as yours. Just typical these days trying to silence the real news.

  • Alan - 7 years ago

It would be interesting to see how many of the "No" answers are registered Republicans. Since when did common decency become politicized? Thank you Trump, for "Making America Racist Again"
