Was it right for Tomi Lahren to be suspended for being pro-choice?

I do not think she should have been fired for stating she is pro choice. On the other hand, she called her mostly conservative audience hypocrites for being pro-life. What's worse is that she went on a rabidly leftist conservative hating television show and delivered her attack on her pro-life fans from 'behind enemy lines. It is never wise to attack and insult your fan base for simply disagreeing with you on one single issue, and doing so in the company of "The View" harpies, who make a living off of bashing conservatives was pure stupidity. She should have kept her job, but only if she sincerely apologized for her attack on those who are pro-life.

I think what everyone is missing is that she wasn't terminated because of her opinion, it was because of the stand that the blaze represents. It would be no different than having a pro life person hired to represent planned parenthood; I'm guessing as soon as they found out their rep was pro life they would dump them. I have always enjoyed hearing Tomi, but, come on guys, this resembles the Muslim who gets a job at a grocery store then whines because there's pork products....Her views simply don't represent the blaze, no more, no less...she needs to move on and find another venue that coincides with her beliefs and keep moving up...

Put TOMI back on she is the best you have! We love her she tells it like it is and by the way we still are suppose to have freedom of speach. As a new Republican if I wanted your kind of actions I would have stayed with the Democrats. IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OF SOMEONE GET RID OF THT WORTHLESS TRASH
SHEP SMITH ! CAN NOT STAND THAT GUY. I TURN OFF FOX WHEN HE IS ON. SEND HIM OVER TO THE WORTHLESS CHANNEL CNN.

Although I do NOT agree with her as I am 100% pro life, I don't feel she should have been suspended for stating her opinion.

She can have any opinion she wants, but her reasoning was incredibly flawed. It shows that she is not qualified to be an political commentator or analyst because she had such a shallow understanding and apparently no desire to learn. She's still getting paid, but she is stuck on stupid. She just parrots back what she hears.

C'mon, First Amendment rights includes free speech!!! Shame on Glenn Beck, he should know better. Or am I missing something? Oh wait...she should have been given the question before hand and her answer either denied or approved. Seems like that is going around these days.

Tomi represents the position of many conservatives whether they will admit it or not. And to NOT allow her to voice her position on her own show.. which.. by the way...is very controversial anyway....is just rediculous and it pisses me off! I'm a conservative ...I LOVED watching Tomi...her Pro-Choice position was NOT a problem for me. Instead of suspending her it would have been more effective to let her RESPOND to our comments to her on this.. such as I am adamently against abortion AFTER 12 Weeks. ! . Let her face the fire!

God gives us choices. Consequences are circumstantial and forgiveness is relational. It's a reap what you sow principle. I don't think anyone should get an abortion. Most young girls make this decision because of lack of good choices. I like the idea of requiring an ultrasound, adoption information given and support through private institutions made known as good choices with lifelong positive consequences. No government.

I think she makes a valid point and should have her job back or be picked up by another network. I am 65, pro life, pro choices and much less government.

I'm glad she had the courage to speak how she feels. I too, am a conservative except on the abortion issue. God speed Tomi.

As much as I like watching her show, I also would be a hypocrit if I said the Blaze, as a conservative station, could not get rid of her. They are conservative and she knew that. That being said I would follow her no matter what channel she is working. I don't agree with this opinion of hers, but do with many of her other opinions.

I voted yes only because Beck's decision is his right, not mine. I am pro-life and I was sickened by her comments. I no longer respect her.

In all fairness it depends on what was on her application and rather this was discussed in the beginning of her employment. Just because you're a conservative network doesn't mean that the terms were discussed in the application process if they weren't then the network is wrong and if it was than Tomie L. Is wrong

She is a hypocrite but calls all of her true conservatives one. Glad she is gone. Maybe she can get a job on The View

IF TOMI CAN BE FIRED FROM THE BLAZE FOR HER ONE COMMENT (and sequestered from being able to discuss the issue openly) THEN HOW DOES FOX EXPLAIN KEEPING POLITICAL HACK ANALYST SHEP SMITH FOR HIS DAILY RANTS ABOUT THE POTUS WITHOUT ANY REAL/SUBSTANTIVE FACTS OR REBUTTAL. SHEP IS A DON LEMMONS WANNABE.
If she wins her lawsuit, Fox News should have significant grounds to fire Shep Smith.

She was suspended from a job she only has because she claimed to be very conservative. You don't keep a job when you expose yourself as never having been qualified for said position. Not only does her pro-choice position out her at odds with her employer, it puts her at odds with her own previous statements.
