I bought a new 2008 Awd Enclave, and a new 2013Awd Enclave, both loaded. I have driven allmost 200k miles in Enclaves. I am considering a 2018 Avenir Awd model. Does the new model have GM's latest and greatest engine ? Or will the new model be upgraded 6 month's after the release date. In 2008 , direct injection was installed six months after the release date. I want quality information about this new Enclave. Real specs on Buick website. Otherwise, it's a new Q7 for me. Make America great again. Thanks.

What a sharp and stylish design both inside and out. It is definitely not my fathers Buick which is a good thing! It breaths class and sportiness and it should have appeal for both young and older motorists. I can't wait til it's available to test drive in my area. Hey Buick - send me a prototype to drive around and show off !

Does the engine cut back to four cylinders like the 2017 Acadia, and are you able to lock the transmission into two wheel drive, also like the Acadia? The proof in this second generation Enclave will be in the pricing once it is released.

The Buick's of 1946/7/8 created a very positive response as a brand seriously worth considering--they were well regarded ( irregardless of the lethargic Dyna-flow transmission when compared to the Hydromatic winner installed in its stablemate---the Oldsmobile. Model's of the latter 1950's further helped establish this " line " as worthy to own. As time evolved. the late Rendezvous gave a hint that Buick designers were again willing to venture into new territory and hopefully bring the car buying public along with them. Of course we know that the stunning Enclave design on the just abandoned Omega platform converted many non GM owners to seriously look, then buy. I am one of them. Now G M has upped the ante, and with a fresher design, a little more power, a nine speed tranny, and multiple electronic gizmos, I believe that Buick will become even more popular. One other plus for Buick---it is constantly praised for " quality "---don't falter!
