I agree with Greg D, the Browns need to stop getting cute every F'n year and just pick the best players available at the picks they have.

This isnt too G'damn hard , but just like last year (and every year before) they will screw it up.

Browns shouldn't pick Trubinsky with Adamas, Solomon, and several much better players available, neither should the Jets. This is a silly scenario.

Jets win the trade but Browns win the draft. The Browns get the once every few years prospect and the top QB prospect and still have the most picks in the draft after losing a 2 and a 4. The Jets win the trade because they already have 2 QB projects they say are improving so you grow their confidence by filling the roster around them and grab extra picks in the process. Its really a win win.

If the Jets get extra picks to take the player they wanted anyway, there's no way that can be anything besides a win.

I cant really say if there is a definitely loser in this trade, but the Jets are definitely getting the better of it. Cleveland gets both their guys in Garrett and Trubisky without having to deal with the fallout of picking Trubisky over Garrett. The Jets win for several reasons: 1. Collecting more picks to fill more holes like Mikey Mac wants to do. 2. They avoid the embarrassment and fallout of picking Trubisky for themselves and get drilled in the NY media for it because, well, their the Jets!!! 3. It allows them to be forced to go with McCown and/or Hackenberg. This way they can kill two birds with one stone by tanking the season and getting enough evidence they whiffed on Hackenberg, which in turn validates a full reboot on the coaching staff and drafting Darnold or Rosen if they go 2-14 or 3-13 like they should. Or if they get "lucky" by winning another game or 2 at the end of the year like they ALWAYS do to screw over their fans that stop showing up in December and freeze their "un gotz" off at Metlife, somehow go 4-12 or 5-11 they could still end up with Mason Rudolph or Josh Allen and they would STILL be better prospects Mitch or Mitchell whatever his mommy wants his name to be. In the words of WFAN NY Sports Radio Host Mike Francesa...."Theyyyyyy STINK!!!"

If the Browns pick up Trubisky in the first round, then the Jets win this trade...hands down. First of all...his name is Mitchell...second...I almost hate him as much as I hated Jimmy Clausen. Literally no reason other than profiling, but in my head they project to be about the same person. A back up at best, who deserves to get punched in the face (I was very happy when I learned that someone punched Jimmy Clausen in the face at a nightclub years ago). But, sheesh, if the browns waste all of their draft capital that they have this year on an unproven kid who doesn't like it when you call him Mitch, then Cleveland fans should be gearing up their brown paper bags early this season.

No matter what Browns do i the draft, they always manages to destroy their chosen players' careers!?
