And, why shouldn't they be? Their parents are Gen X'ers

It's not just the youth but most adults don't seem to understand how important our government, our history, our Constitution, and our role in this world is. How can we teach children when we don't get it

They act like they are drugged or something.

Spare the rod, spoil the child. No truer words have been spoken. We as adults must take on the job of raising our children, and not pass that responsibility to our schools and society. Parents are failing to instill good morals and values into their children before sending them into the "village". It is our responsibility as the "village" to hold them accountable for their actions, which we are also failing. Seems that the parents are the ones that seem to have forgotten what America stands for and what it means to be an American. God Bless America, and protect her from all that wish to do her harm, foreign and domestic.

    Cont.
So because of thses 2 things l do not believe our young people are clueless.
I do believe the MSM wants us to believe they are winning.

I voted no because looks are deceiving. We have more young people in our military than we do in rioters. I am not sure, but think military enlistments are on the rise.
I an under the impression many of us think that Sorros, Obama, and Hillary and the Democratic party are behind all of these riotous protests, so it is not just the young people out there behaving badly. I think some are being paid.

The ones in the news are a big bunch of spoiled brats raised to be a bunch of "give me" .. " I want" and "if I don't GET .. I will PITCH a FIT" babies!!! THEY need to get an "Attitude of Gratitude"!!! ..

Proud I can say ..they DO NOT define my CHILDREN or GRANDCHILDREN!!!

I go to parades I don't even see 1/3 stand for our flag vets military. It's not taught in schools anymore as to why our Pledge is important and why we are united. Manners to elderly women have gone and manners are the start to respect.

This is thanks to our education system that does not teach the truth about America. The history as imperfect as it was, created a nation more powerful and giving the world has ever experienced. Their education has focused on everything that was wrong about the country, so what do you expect?

ABSO-FREAK'N-LUTELY! ! These young adults are the generation of Entitlement.... Zero Discipline and are LOSING the ability to communicate One On One ...Eye to Eye .
All their ' TALKING' is done via chatting on a Keyboard or Phone! !

This age group is a product of liberal colleges and public Schools. Media makes, democracy a lie, and socialist a great society. Everything is free Right! This generation is very entitled. Family fell apart because God and Morals have never been taught.

Hardest thing they have to do is want something. They've never had to work for anything they wanted. When they don't get their way the battles on. They've grown up thinking they're entitled, parents and this jacked up educational system has done it to them.

They don't have a clue!! There are a few exceptions. Kids blessed with sensible parents and a good upbringing but for the most part these kids act like they have lived on another planet.

  • Tony - 7 years ago

If by calling them kids you mean up to 30 years old, then yes. They have been hiding under mommy's skirts bagging for milk and cookies.

Many of today's youth have been exploited by the media and the ,political correctness that runs rampant on campuses. When God is not the center of our lives and families falling apart then youth will suffer. I believe it is adults that have the responsibility to mold and set example for our children but after 21 we can only pray.
