The reason BTS is getting so many votes is because their fan base is massive. They sing well and their dancing is on point. I can probably name maybe a handful of American artist who can dance at their level ,https://youtu.be/ALj5MKjy2BU . Then you have Suga the rapper in the group who can rap better than most rappers you hear now in the U.S. His rap resonates back to old school American rap with the emphasis on lyrics instead of tired she swings from the pole,etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Y_Eiyg4bfk . They spent 12 hours a day 7 days a week for years before they even cut an album or did a MV. Their last 4 concerts in 2 cities sold out in 2 1/2 minutes. Unlike some American artists they don't just show up to their concerts they are prepared and there to give it their all. There is no I wasn't prepared or half a** performances ever. BTS and the korean hip hop/rap/rock/r & b is not on the decline but rapidly moving world wide. You may not have heard of BTS but they are not even at the top of their career they have only just started. Check out their music before making a blanket statement. And if you don't like BTS believe me there will be other korean artists showing up on Billboard again because in Korean entertainment they work hard and play very little so they have a whole lot of time to get really good at what they do.

Louis Tomlinson released a single in December and had his main promo run in January/February 2017, as opposed to Niall Horan whose debut single was released months earlier in 2016.
Camila Cabello's solo work has all been collaborations. And with singers, while Louis' was with DJ Steve Aoki.
Just Hold On, Louis Tomlinson's debut single as a solo artist was top of the charts upon release and received Gold and Platinum in several countries. It only last week re-entered the Billboard Dance top 25.
