I have watched the first 4 episodes with the new Adam and I am not impressed, please bring back MM!!
As other fans have expressed MM makes the character of Adam Newman, the chemistry him and Chelsea brought to the show, along with Victor and the other Newman's is undeniable and makes great day time TV, always keeping you on your toes to tune in the next day.....I have been watching Y&R since 1984 and recently the story lines have been boring we needs some sizzle for the summer.....Listen to the fans, bring MM back!!!

This is the perfect time to bring MM back. I'm afraid that, after watching Y&R since day one, I may give it up if Muhney doesn't come back.

Have to say that I loved Muhney in the role of Adam and was just one of MANY who didn't watch for several months when he left! Then there was Hartley! OH MY GOODNESS!!! Sorry Michael, but Justin Hartley has got to be the best replacement EVER to fills the shoes of ANY daytime star ANYWHERE, and the fact that he only improved on Adam was a totally unexpected surprise! As with Michael, it was absolutely heartbreaking to see Justin leave! BUT, with Justin gone, I would absolutely love Michael Muhney to return to the role that he played so perfectly! Michael truly made that role and to have him back - in my opinion - is the ONLY right solution! I remember when CBS tried replacing Billy Miller - what a joke! This latest Billy is the best of the three replacements BY FAR (Tom and that other guy were pitifully PAINFUL to watch), but even as much as I like this last Billy, Mr Miller still reigns! I think CBS is making a HUGE mistake if they choose to overlook Muhney - he was and IS the only genuine Adam (outside of the outstanding job that Mr Hartley did) - so to try to go thru what we went thru with the Miller replacement will only hurt the show. Who cares if Braeden doesn't like Michael? Seriously? Also want to say that I am THRILLED that CBS has indeed decided to bring Adam back - it would be absurd to write Adam's character off when he IS a most vital (if not "the" most vital) character of the show. Certainly not to downplay the other stars and storylines; but let's be honest, many of us (through Muhney and Hartley) fell in love with Y&R all over again, so to get rid of someone THAT essential to the story is really pretty ridiculous! When pompous Braeden and some of the other characters start leaving, Adam Newman would/could be one of the very few main characters who could ultimately save the show. So yeah, we love that CBS has chosen to bring Adam back since it would have been so not right to consider otherwise; and any possibility at all that it might be Muhney is way better than "icing on the cake!" Come on, CBS, don't be foolish by trying out a string of newcomers for the part - just bring our guy, Michael, back!!! And lastly, thank you CBS for FINALLY getting rid of phelps - one of THE best decisions EVER made!!!

Please bring Michael back!!! He is the perfect fit for pleasing soap fans this show has ran off the road without Adam in the show. He has the Chemistry with Chelsea. I feel he would bring the show back to life with Victor and Chelsea without him being a face we love would take the ratings back to all the fans! Please listen to your fans

Michael Muhney is the ultimate and only choice! His sin, according to an important fellow actor with way more seniority was to "have a big mouth". Everything else deteriorated henceforth with slanderous results. He learnt his lesson and is ready to come back. Can the war hatchets be buried and peace be restored, please? This has been going on for way too long. Bring back Adam in the person who really and truly gave him that unforgettable personality. HIS incarnation IS truly an authentic chip of the old block. Please!
