What I would like to see is radio to go streaming. Accessible through and app, free to consumers with limited ads to pay for it's expenses. Personalities would not receive salaries but could sell ads during their time slot. Metrics on usage during day parts and demographics would drive ad sales.
This would bring radio into the 21st century. It would be great if Urban radio beat all other formats to the change to streaming.
